UBEC-10A V2 Car

UBEC 10 A is a switched-mode DC power supply stabilizer; powered by a 2-6S LiPo battery, it reduces the input voltage to a level suitable for powering receivers and on-board electronics of RC models, and stabilizes the output voltage at the set value (6.0 V, 7.4 V or 8.4 V). The load capacity of the UBEC is 10 A continuous, 15 A peak. Thanks to the waterproof and dustproof box, it is especially suitable for models of off-road vehicles, but also ships, tanks, etc.

• It uses an advanced DC step-down converter chip with current and thermal overload protection operating at close to 90% efficiency.
• Small dimensions and light weight for easy use and installation.
• 3 output voltages (selectable with a short-circuit jumper) suitable for all types of receivers, servos as well as LED lights, winches, etc.
• Indicator LED signaling the operating status of the UBEC.
• Metal electronics cover and ferrite ring on the output cable to suppress electromagnetic radiation.
• External switch for quick on and off.

Using UBEC

Electric drive model with OPTO controller: Connect the UBEC directly to the drive battery outputs and plug the UBEC output connector into the battery socket (or other free servo socket) on the receiver.

Electric Drive Model with Built-in Power Stabilizer (BEC): Before connecting the UBEC, you must disconnect the red (+) wire in the governor servo cable to disable the built-in BEC. Otherwise, the connection of the UBEC is the same as in the case of the OPTO regulator.

Internal combustion engine model or non-engine model: Connect the UBEC directly to the outputs of the power battery and plug the UBEC output connector into the battery socket (or other free servo socket) on the receiver.

Tip: To limit possible interference, place the UBEC in the model at a distance of at least 5 cm from the receiver.
