The Arrma Vendetta 3S BLX 1:8 4WD PND RC car model achieves incredible speed on the road and on flat terrain. The proven ARRMA® 4X4 platform features a strong composite chassis with extended mudguard height, oil shocks with silicone O-rings, metal differential gears, etc. This makes the VENDETTA™ 4X4 3S BLX Speed ??Racer very robust for high-speed on-road driving , gravel, dirt and oval tracks. The accessible ARRMA® design makes maintenance easy. The model has separate, easily removable chassis modules for the power unit, electronics and differentials.
The ARRMA® VENDETTA™ 4X4 3S BLX Speed ??Racer 1:8 scale model is in PND version and requires the addition of an RC kit. Furthermore, just install a 3S LiPol battery and the supplied optional higher speed pinion to reach up to 110km/h!! What's more, ARRMA® construction and Spektrum™ electronics provide exceptional durability and control.
You'll maximize the speed potential of the powerful Spektrum™ Firma™ 3660 3900 Kv AC motor and high and low pressure wing that help keep your tires glued to the surface on an aerodynamically tuned body. dBoots® Hoons Elevens full-suspension tires are fitted with durable nylon rims, painted in a metallic color. The tires ensure incredible grip in all surface conditions, while the large rear double diffuser reduces turbulence and body drag. The bodies are available with a factory finish in green or blue matte and gloss paint effects, with applied decals.
Features that contribute to the high performance of the 4X4 3S BLX platform include a strong and rigid composite chassis, steering with optimum clearance, steel gears and rubber-covered bearings. The extended height bar limits the amount of dirt that can get into the undercarriage tub. A large front foam bumper is integrated on the body for maximum protection.
The VENDETTA™ 4X4 3S BLX Speed Racer PND features ARRMA®'s signature and easily accessible modular concept. Separate, easily removable chassis modules for the power system, electronics and differential components allow for quick and simple routine maintenance.
The dBoots® Hoons Elevens ventilated all-purpose tires are made of high-quality rubber for long-lasting durability and provide incredible traction on all surfaces. The tires are mounted on durable nylon discs, metallic in color and contain high quality inserts for excellent tread support.
The aerodynamically tuned bodywork of the VENDETTA™ Speed Racer features a fixed high- and low-downforce wing. It is available with a factory finished finish with a stunning green or blue matte and gloss paint effect with decals.
The oil dampers contain silicone O-rings and are threaded to allow for easy ride height adjustment. Combined with front and rear double wishbone suspension, front and rear sway bars and a large rear double diffuser, the VENDETTA™ 4X4 3S BLX Speed Racer offers ultimate handling on all roads.
The new Spektrum S651 7kg MG MG directional servo has 15% more torque than the previous ADS-7M servo. It is waterproof, has metal gears and a torque of 7.27 kg.cm at 6V.
The control of the model is provided by a modern SPEKTRUM™ FIRMA™ 100A SMART controller with a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 microcontroller, which is able to capture complete telemetry and transmit it to the receiver using an integrated wire in the new IC5 connector. Data is transmitted via the SRXL2 protocol. The controller reads information about the type, temperature and voltage of the battery cells directly from the Smart battery. Current, temperature, total Smart battery voltage, Smart battery cell voltage, Smart battery temperature, remaining capacity and engine speed are available in real time.
The electronics are completely encased in a special potting material that prevents moisture* or dirt from entering the electronics. The regulator is switched on and adjusted with the buttons that are under the rubber cover.
The new IC5 connectors have a modern design with an emphasis on safety and simplicity. The contacts are made of gold-plated pins and sockets with a diameter of 5 mm.
As already mentioned, the connectors have been designed with an emphasis on safety and ease of use. The connectors cannot be reversed, the contacts and soldered connections are covered with a plastic cover. The IC5 connector is backward compatible with the EC5.

To put the model into operation, you need to purchase an RC set (transmitter + receiver), a drive battery and an adequate charger for the drive battery.
The model can be operated on a 2- to 3-cell LiPo battery. The accumulator should be fitted with an EC5 or IC5 connector. For normal driving, we recommend a 2-cell LiPo battery (7.4 V).
Spektrum batteries with Smart technology currently represent the most modern and safest way to maintain and charge batteries. The benefits of Spektrum Smart technology can be found here.
Smart G2 batteries are even simpler and safer, thanks to the absence of a balance connector. In addition, G2 batteries have up to 3x faster automatic discharge into storage mode. Smart G2 batteries can only be charged on Spektrum Smart and Smart G2 chargers.
NiMH batteries do not require precise handling and are therefore suitable if the RC model car is operated by children (NiMH batteries are not destroyed by complete discharge). However, NiMH batteries do not have such performance.
Spektrum Smart chargers can charge both Smart and Smart G2 batteries as well as conventional batteries. Previously sold Smart chargers also support Smart G2 after updating.
For the normal operation of RC models, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
