Quick turnaround

Thanks to the Self-righting Rapid Right function, there is no need to limit speed or fun. Use the full power of the 4S Velineon AC drive and if the Disruptor flips upside down, press full reverse and the ship will reverse in a flash.

Agile and dexterous design

The Disruptor's perfectly proportioned hull provides precise control for sharp turns and stability for blistering speed. The new low center of gravity design concentrates weight low along the center axis for perfect weight distribution.

New 4S drive

The Velineon VXL-4s Marine AC drive system is designed for maximum power on a single 4S LiPo battery. The all-new outrunner engine combines massive torque with high revs. Two water cooling systems are installed – a separate circuit for the engine and for the controller.

Durable ABS hull

The 26" (66 cm) long hull is made of durable and lightweight vacuum-molded ABS. It is built to withstand impacts at high speeds. The construction includes support moldings for exceptional strength.

Stapleless cover

The top cover is attached to the fuselage with four quick release lock nuts. Simply unlock the nuts with the included wrench for easy access to the electronics and battery replacement. The Disruptor also includes a set of wing nuts for quick, tool-free installation and removal. Thanks to the foam seal, the cover fits precisely and stays firmly in place even during rough driving.

Foam padding

Integrated foam padding in the hull ensures that the boat stays afloat even in the event of a capsize. In addition to making the Disruptor virtually unsinkable, the foam padding adds extra rigidity.

Modular design

The motor together with the electronic components are bolted to the mounting plate, which can be dismantled as a single unit for easy maintenance by loosening the shaft and a few screws. No other boat offers such easy access.

Water cooling of electronics

Dual water cooling for the engine and regulator draws water through pipettes from the underside of the hull. The water then passes through the aluminum motor holder or the finned radiator of the regulator.

Double outlet nozzle

A double outlet nozzle at the rear of the fuselage drains water from the dual cooling system.

Aluminum fittings, ship screw

The 6000 series high-strength aluminum rudder is blue anodized for an unmistakable look, with no worries about corrosion. The screws on the model are also made of stainless steel. Countless hours of testing prototypes and configurations resulted in a two-bladed composite boat propeller with the ideal balance of performance, efficiency and durability.

Flexible shaft

The flex shaft drive system, originally designed for the 6S drive, is reliable and ready for long fun. The engine is moved further aft, shortening the shaft and increasing efficiency.

Shaft collet

The collet firmly holds the flexible shaft and perfectly centers it with the motor. The shaft is easily dismantled for service using the two included keys.

Trimming surfaces and stabilizers

At the rear of the model, there are installed stainless steel trim plates, which are factory-set to the neutral position. By slightly bending them, you can experiment and change the driving characteristics for higher stability, more agile driving, etc.

Eye-catching graphics

All graphics on the model are already applied from the factory. At first glance, it impresses with its distinctive appearance and is also highly visible.

Waterproof components*

The model and its components are designed to minimize the risk of water ingress to the electronics, such as the sealing rings on the servo, the epoxied regulator, or the receiver housed in a patented box with a foam grommet.

Servo steering

Digital servo standard size Traxxas servo 2056 6.2kg.cm waterproof with DC motor and nylon gears has a torque of 6.2 kg.cm and a speed of 0.20 s/60°@ 6.0 V. For water resistance*, the servo box is fitted with a seal.

Marine Outrunner AC motor

Marine outrunner AC motor with rotating casing, efficient neodymium magnets, precisely balanced rotor and high-speed ball bearings. This design enables efficient heat dissipation through the water-cooled holder, and at the same time the weight ensures the Self-righting function.

VXL-4S Marine Regulator

The VXL-4s Marine controller is waterproof and water-cooled via a large aluminum heatsink. Possibility of powering up to 4 LiPol cells. It includes a patented Training mode that reduces performance by 50%. Thermal overload protection. Two driving modes:

Traxxas TQ RC Kit

The model is controlled by a two-channel proportional steering wheel RC radio Traxxas TQ, working in the 2.4 GHz band - operation without interference. The transmitter is powered by only 4 AA cells.

There is a rotary knob on the transmitter that trims the steering (so that the model goes straight if the steering wheel is in the center position). The status of the batteries in the transmitter is indicated by an LED. Reverse can be set on the transmitter on the throttle and steering channels.

TQ receiver

The Traxxas TQ 2.4 GHz three-channel receiver ensures safe driving without interruptions. Easy pairing with one button. Status indication by means of an LED diode.

Recommended LiPo batteries

The model can be operated on a 4-cell LiPo battery (14.8V). For children and beginners, it is possible to run the model on a weaker 3S LiPo battery (11.1V) or even a 2S LiPo (7.4V).

Accessories for normal ship operation

For the normal operation of the RC model ship, you need a special grease to lubricate the ship's shafts. The special composition ensures the smooth running of the shaft in the Teflon tube while maintaining the maximum service life of the components. We recommend Traxxas grease, or Marine grease, or Marine grease with grease nipple.

Trailer for transport

For stylish boat transportation, we recommend the Traxxas 31" Tandem-axle trailer. You can tow the trailer behind the TRX-4 / TRX-6 (incl. high Trail) or Ford Raptor R models.
