The real racing boat DCB M41, manufactured by Dave's Custom Boats, reaches a speed of over 250 km / h, is powered by a petrol engine with an output of up to 1550 hp. Traxxas has prepared a remote-controlled boat model for you, which will definitely not disappoint you. The length of the fuselage is 105 cm , of course the stabilization Traxxas TSM, RC kit Traxxas TQi and a proven drive. All you need for commissioning are the drive batteries and the charger.
The basis of the extreme performance of the RCB M41 Widebody RC model is its brand new catamaran hull with low water resistance and excellent stability and maneuverability. The light and strong hull made of special plastic must withstand the high stress of a powerful AC drive and is lighter than the laminate hull. The rear bulkhead includes mounting of trim pads, rudders, supports and drive, which eliminates the need for additional reinforcement in the fuselage. The hull has a shaped foam padding, which further strengthens the hull and makes the ship "unsinkable". Widebody has a strong hull color, so it is perfectly visible on the water.
The powerful RC remote control boat Traxxas DCB M41 faithfully reproduces the shape of the cockpit, with an emphasis on details such as dashboard indicators, speakers, steering wheel, seats and more. The well-crafted cockpit corresponds to the appearance of the entire ship, creating a work of art with a demon's heart.
The Traxxas M41 uses a unique way of attaching a flexible shaft, using a collet. This solution perfectly centers the motor shaft and ensures smooth and safe operation without the possibility of loosening. When it is time for maintenance, the collet is quickly released by turning the key. When released, the support and flexible cable simply slides out. Service is as easy as possible and your Traxxas M41 RC model can always be in top condition.
The Traxxas M41 is equipped with a propeller made of composite material, which, thanks to its well-thought-out shape, minimizes the formation of cavitation! The propeller is light and durable, without the need for balancing.
Cavitation is a phenomenon that arises from the very rapid movement of a propeller in water, which creates bubbles filled with vacuum and then water vapor. These bubbles collapse when the vacuum disappears, creating a shock wave that has destructive effects on the surrounding material.
For maximum AC motor power transfer and precise, sharp steering, there is a rudder and other components made of very durable extruded aluminum series 6000 , which is blue anodized and polished. A hose is connected to the rudder, which supplies water to the engine and controller cooling system.
The two trim pads on the underside of the hull are made of stainless steel and guarantee perfect stability of the boat even at high speeds.
Eye-catching graphics make this remote-controlled ship a real gem on the waves. The unique motif also ensures excellent visibility of the boat in all conditions.
For maximum simple service, the entire drive block is removable. It contains all parts of the drive and control, ie the motor with the regulator and the receiver with the servo. All you have to do is loosen the two screws and this whole module can be removed from the fuselage and then conveniently perform the necessary service work on the table. The batteries are located on the sides of the fuselage and are secured with quick-release straps. The RC model of the M41 has a low center of gravity and therefore a high degree of stability.
A matter of course with this model is the waterproof construction of all components, which are dimensioned to minimize the possibility of water penetration. The receiver is stored in a box with O-rings, which are also equipped with servo control.
The Velineon 540XML AC motor with water cooling has a specially shaped cooling jacket in which water circulates. The Velineon 540XML motor has a balanced rotor, high-speed bearings and a neodymium magnet with high thermal stability.
The VXL-6s Marine BL controller is waterproof, water-cooled, with the option of powering 6 - 8 NiMH cells or 2 - 6 LiPol cells. It has three programmable profiles, Sport, Race and Training. Sport has 100% forward, 15% reverse, Race only 100% forward and Training 50% forward, 15% reverse. Thermal overload protection and overcurrent protection are a matter of course.

The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) system not only allows you to experience power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speeds, but also guarantees much easier control and control over the model. The 3-axis MEMS sensors in the receiver constantly sense the position of the model and gently correct the model in the direction you require.

You need 4x AA batteries for the transmitter, drive batteries and a suitable charger for drive batteries for commissioning. In any case, you need a special lubrication grease for lubricating the ship's shaft or a lubricator with Marine grease for normal operation. For best results, install a pair of 3-cell LiPol car batteries in series with a capacity of at least 5000mAh.
Due to the nature of the ship, we recommend using only LiPo batteries in a reinforced package (semi-hardcase or hardcase) for propulsion.
The model can be operated on a pair of identical 2 or 3 cell LiPol batteries.
