The Traxxas Stampede RC car model is one of Traxxas' most popular 2WD models. Thanks to the clearance height of 100 mm, it is suitable for grass, terrain and flat surfaces. The advantage is practically maintenance-free operation. The model reaches a speed of up to 48 km/h, for children the speed can be reduced to half.
The Traxxas Stampede 1:10 electric powered RC car model is fully assembled and ready to go. It is powered by a powerful Titan 550 12T DC motor and an XL-5 controller with LiPol battery support.
The gearbox, disc clutch and planetary differential are enclosed in one compact unit. A friction clutch transmission reliably transmits engine power to the axles, the Magnum 272™ planetary differential has gears made of hardened steel. This system requires absolutely minimal maintenance. There are pinions and sprockets with different numbers of teeth, so you can fine-tune the model for speed and technical tracks.
The Revo Spec Torque Control friction clutch ensures smooth power transmission and is adjustable. A properly set amount of slip protects the drive train, while not reducing the acceleration of the model.
Ultra Shocks oil shocks feature an exclusive X-Ring to reduce friction with excellent resistance to oil leakage. By filling the damper with silicone oil of a different viscosity, you can adjust the damping efficiency. Ground clearance is affected by spring preload.
Digital servo standard size Traxxas servo 2056 6.2kg.cm waterproof with DC motor and nylon gears has a torque of 6.2 kg.cm and a speed of 0.20 s/60°@ 6.0 V. For water resistance*, the servo box is fitted with a seal.
The car model is fitted with a modified Titan 550 12T DC motor. The motor has 30% more power than conventional 540 motors. The rotor at the back of the motor contains a propeller that blows air into the motor and effectively cools it.
Waterproof* Traxxas XL-5 electronic controller with three driving modes, support for modern high-capacity LiPo batteries and easy control with the EZ-Set™ button. The XL-5 controller is equipped with training mode , which limits full throttle to the level of 50%. Thanks to this, novice drivers or children can gradually familiarize themselves with the features of the model and prepare for the full power of the car. Thermal protection, gold-plated connectors and incredibly low internal resistance are the currency of this regulator.
The model is controlled by a two-channel proportional steering wheel RC radio Traxxas TQ, working in the 2.4 GHz band - operation without interference. The transmitter is powered by only 4 AA cells.

To operate the model, it is necessary to add 4x AA batteries for the transmitter. We recommend powering the USB-C charger with a powerful USB adapter.

To extend the driving time, we recommend purchasing an additional battery. For regular riding and for children, we recommend buying one more identical NiMH battery, which is included in the package. For maximum driving time and higher performance, you can use modern LiPo batteries. If you use different types of accumulators, it is always necessary to set the type of the connected accumulator on the controller!
Traxxas universal chargers can charge Traxxas LiPo and NiMH batteries. (The charger included in the package is intended only for the NiMH type battery that is included in the package.) Traxxas chargers are a simple and safe way to charge batteries. Traxxas uses the unique iD system , so you're always sure to connect everything easily and safely. For normal operation of the Traxxas RC car, you need bolt glue, good quality tire glue, silicone shock oil and a set of screwdrivers. We recommend an affordable set of tools for cars from our range.
The thread or head of the screw is dripped with screw glue, which fixes it and the vibrations caused by driving will not allow the screw connection to loosen. The screw adhesive has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an adequate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary instant glue, it might be impossible to loosen a screw stuck like this!
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. Never use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks would gradually form in the tire around the rims!
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the dampers of the model. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. For these cases, so-called repair kits are supplied. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are delivered to all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN surface are easily recognized by their golden-green color.
