As every car model fan knows, HPI Savage has changed the RC scene. He entered the market as a rugged Monster Truck with a desire for acrobatics. Over the years, the original Savage 21 has undergone several improvements in durability and performance. And now it comes in a brushless design like the Savage X FLUX V2.
The claim that he was "eagerly awaited" is a weak word. For years, you have begged us to revive Savage FLUX. We wanted to do so only at the moment of maximum confidence in its quality. He just arrived. The availability of spare parts, delivery time and car quality is optimal.
Somersaults by simply squeezing the gas, tearing the tires and crushing the terrain - a performance of fear. Proponents of the FLUX drive know which one is beating. Cut by the new components, Savage X FLUX can only be described as the Next Level.
The beast is returning

Tough as a savage
From the super-durable powertrain, through the Bulletproof 29 / 9T differential, to the new rugged bumpers. Every Savage X FLUX V2 centimeter is designed to survive and dominate. Shaped suspension arms are ready to withstand huge impacts from high-altitude impacts. The bowels are protected by a reinforced TV (Twin Vertical Plate) chassis made of strong aluminum. The new universal cases ensure the safety of the batteries.
Nothing for the faint of heart
Like other HPI cars, the Svage X FLUX V2 is easy to control with the included steering wheel transmitter. But be careful with it, all you have to do is run for gas, and the six-link FLUX system pushes the car forward. You don't even have to look around, and Savage X is in attack mode. Expect crazy acrobatics on dry land. And also the amount of stones, clay and mud that will fly on you from the bikes. The power of FLUX cannot be denied.
New construction with a lower center of gravity
HPI designers decided to start designing a new design from scratch. Maximize performance, tune wheels with tires. With the new layout of the aluminum TV chassis, work is even easier and more efficient. The model is fully optimized for the best RC race of your life.
Durable servo spring
The strengthening of several basic equipment has been strengthened. This powerful servo spring provides more precise control of all new Savage X Nitro and Savage X Flux models. It allows modern powerful steering servos to provide the model with a faster and more immediate steering response.
Robust suspension
After nearly two decades of incredibly exciting RC bashing performance, Savage has earned a reputation as the toughest Monster Truck available. Over time, the suspension also developed. The new Savage X Flux V2 boasts super-strong reinforced suspension arms and steering hubs. They can withstand the violence of every leap, every fight and every terrain.
Central protective plate
Another novelty of the Savage X Flux V2 model is the extremely durable "splash". HPI engineers designed it for maximum protection of the underside of the chassis and all the electronics that are fitted to it. On the one hand, it absorbs shocks from impacts, flying gravel and clay, and at the same time looks great.
Encapsulated shoulder pins
It's not purely about performance. The new generation of Savage also looks at usability. Over the years, modellers have shown us that it is necessary to fasten the pins so that they do not move from the place due to large shocks. The designers listen to the feedback, so they equipped the model with pin housings. So you can bump as you like, but the pins still won't let go.
17mm wheel carriers
The new generation Savage also comes with standardized 17mm aluminum wheel carriers. This means that you can put your Monster Truck in any buggy or truggy wheels of eighth HPI models. The large black 17mm nut holds the wheels attached to the carrier at all costs. Don't worry about bumps and jumps.
Legendary aluminum TV chassis
Equipped with all key components, this rugged metal chassis is essentially synonymous with the Savage family. Three millimeters thick "TVP" (Twin vertical Plate) are unshakably strong, but at the same time light. They are the perfect backbone to withstand giant jumps, rough impacts, boilers and caroms at full speed.
Brand new robust bumpers
The stronger and more aggressive appearance of the front and rear bumpers, among other things, contains enough space for 3mm and 5mm LEDs. This gives you the opportunity to fine-tune your car with lighting so that it is always in sight on the track.
Pressed construction parts
Historically, the best generation of Savage spare and tuning parts is not just about performance. The brand new design of the GT-6 looks beautiful, not only the attractive body, but also plastic mock-up accessories such as the radiator grille, mirrors or roll-bars.
Accessible engine mount
Savage is known for bringing triggers, destroying, devouring terrain and anything that crosses his path. However, this may not be a painful maintenance. We continue to simplify the layout in several places. For example, the two-piece design of the motor mount allows access with only two top bolts. You no longer have to take a break to remove the engine.
FLUX high-performance electronics
The colossally powerful FLUX MLH-2200KV engine is ready for all the power you let through. The FLUX ELH-6S regulator can handle voltages up to 22.2 V. Thanks to it, you will dare even the craziest pieces.
It is enough to supply juice to this drive set with a pair of two-cell LiPo 7.4V batteries. If you want even more, no problem. Connect a pair of 11.1V triples. With the power of 6S LiPo, your head will go around.
Encapsulated electronics
Keeping your precious electronics safe is a priority. The aluminum construction around the regulator is literally an impregnable strength. Cleverly spaced slots allow air to flow through and cool the controller, but they also make the controller's switch, more fun, more accessible.
Quickly accessible battery
The saga of simplification continues to the battery case door. The case is now equipped with a latch, so the door can be opened and closed more easily and quickly. Putting fresh energy has never been easier.
Large nylon shock absorbers
The four huge XL shock absorbers offer as much suspension as you need to fly through the most demanding terrain. Thanks to the nylon body, they are light and strong, and there is almost no friction on the piston. Extra large capacity provides more control and damping. Offroad makes them incredibly fun.
All-metal gears
In addition to the steel pinion and direct gear wheel, the Savage FLUX V2 is also equipped with an all-metal gearbox. Thanks to them, power is transferred undisturbed and with minimal losses from the engine to the wheels, without the risk of damaging the gears. The entire drivetrain stands on ball bearings, for optimum efficiency, long travel and brutal speeds.
Direct transmission steel wheel and slip clutch
The drive train contains a robust steel pinion and a direct transmission wheel with 43 teeth. This is so that you feel comfortable even in the wildest acrobatics. For even greater durability, the direct transmission wheel is equipped with a pair of sliding clutches. As with the sandwich, the direct drive wheel is located between the lightweight aluminum clutches, thus protecting the drive from hard impacts.
Quick access center gearbox
Every RC fan knows that modeling is not just about riding. Maintenance, repair, tuning and tuning also play a role. With the Savage X Flux V2 center gearbox, it's wonderful to see that this animal's bowels are easily accessible, just remove a few screws. Whether you just want to check the condition of your teeth or replace it with an optional center differential, you'll definitely have it out of your throat.
Even more durable powertrain
In order for the powertrain to reliably cope with the enormous power and brutal energy eruptions that the 2200KV FLUX engine generates, it must be designed for these conditions. From all-metal center gearbox to Bulletproof 29 / 9T differentials. The differentials are equipped with extremely durable forged pinions and disc wheels. In addition, they have sintered metal 4-speed guts and metal covers at both ends. Steel half-axle carriers, extra-strong cardans and steel half-axles complete the entire drive train.
Acrobatics straight from the box
The Savage X Flux V2 lives and breathes for long flights, multiple somersaults, and a crazy rear ride. Thus, of course, it requires the center shaft to deliver all the power for maximum freestyle action. The center shaft is convulsive, but if you prefer a smooth ride and smooth handling, replace it with an optional center differential.
