    The Nimbus 550 V2 K03 represents the latest version of the 550 class high-end flybarless helicopter, allowing for the installation of a wide range of motors and electronics, so straight out of the box or with the use of tuning parts, it can easily meet the demands of sport/recreational pilots and seasoned 3D professionals.

    At the heart of the Nimbus 550 V2 K03 is a compact bearing rotor bearing block and a 7075 duralumin ring servo holder, which, together with the carbon frame, ensures the unique rigidity of the frame. A small but important detail is the use of double-row ball bearings with diagonal contact to accommodate the main shaft, bringing high resistance and long service life.

    The 120° cyclic CCPM plate is controlled by three standard servos with a precise rod system with a large range of deflections. (With the use of a tuning kit, it is possible to install a miniservo instead of standard servos.) The upper part of the ring plate with extended ball pins has been redesigned to eliminate the uneven differentiation of the ring and collective. The blade control arms are designed to bend or break in a crash, protecting other (more expensive) parts of the helicopter from damage.

    The helicopter frame is made up of 2.5mm carbon sidewalls and 2.0mm in the bottom to ensure maximum stiffness and crash resistance with minimal weight.

    The drive battery can be inserted into the battery bed from the front or the back, so battery replacement does not require removing the cabin - the bed has been enlarged so that it can now accommodate batteries with dimensions up to 290x53.5x66 mm.

    The Nimbus 550 V2 with the corresponding motor and controller allows the use of drive batteries with 6S, 8S, 10S or even 12S LiPo cells.

    The robust rotor head allows the installation of blades with a length of 515-570 mm; with the tuning kit, it is possible to install up to 620 mm sheets.

    The tail beam consists of a rigid carbon tube with a diameter of 27 mm, requiring no additional struts and ensuring precise control of the tail. The balancing rotor control and drive mechanism is housed in a one-piece duralumin housing for easy assembly and maintenance.

    Improved control of the balance rotor with a wire rod and modified servo mounting, as proven on the Nimbus 550 Nitro.
