Programmable microprocessor controllers for brushless, sensorless AC motors designed using the capabilities of state-of-the-art semiconductor technology. They offer easy and clear programming with the transmitter and really simple and lightning-fast setting using the KAVAN R LED programming card (sold separately). It is used to control the speed of AC electric motors in recreational aircraft models powered by NiCd / NiMH and LiPo / Li-ion batteries. They are equipped with a linear BEC power stabilizer providing power to the receiver and servo from the drive battery.
DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS OF THE CONTROLLER
- Extremely low internal resistance thanks to a new generation of power MOSFET transistors.
- Suitable for the vast majority of aircraft AC motors powered by 2S LiPo / Li-ion batteries or 5-7 NiCd / NiMH cells.
- For power supply from NiCd, NiMH, LiPo, Li-ion batteries
- Linear power stabilizer BEC 5.0 V with a load capacity of up to 0.8 A.
- Adjustable timing for optimal adaptation to the given motor.
- Adjustable voltage protection - disconnection of the motor when the supply voltage drops.
- Safe start (prevents the engine from starting when switched on).
- Overload protection (when the temperature reaches 110 ° C the controller limits the power).
- Automatic gas withdrawal in case of loss of control signal.

PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS
- Programmable brake (Off - On).

- Adjustable soft start for geared and helicopter engines in three stages: Normal (300 ms) / Soft (1.5 s) / Super soft (3 s).
PROTECTIVE FUNCTIONS OF THE CONTROLLER
- Start-up protection: If the engine does not start within 2 seconds after the throttle is added, the controller switches off the engine.
- Thermal protection: If the controller temperature exceeds 110 ° C, the controller will limit the output power.
- Gas signal loss: The controller limits the power if the signal is missing for 1 s; a signal missing after more than 2 s will cause the motor to shut down completely.
Tip: When switching on the controller for the first time, first calibrate the gas range according to the instructions. Only then can the controller be used and other parameters set with the help of the KAVAN R transmitter or LED programming card.
