    The Bighorn Pro acrobatic high-flyer proves that even a well-engined high-flyer of classic all-balsa construction with large rudders and flaps can be just as fun as similar "bubble" models. So, if you like what the various "Sranda" Pipers do in the air, but you haven't yet developed a taste for foams, the Bighorn Pro is definitely a good choice.

    The hull is a classic "box" construction made of light plywood and balsa covered with Oracover® iron-on film. It is prepared for the installation of a 500-600 W AC electric motor in the rear assembly, such as KAVAN C3542-1000, KAVAN PRO 3542-1150, Model Motors AXI 2820/12, etc. with a 40-60A speed controller with a powerful SBEC power stabilizer. Access to the on-board electronics and drive battery compartments is provided by a removable front cab section and a cover on the cab ceiling. Micro servos for rudder and elevator control are installed in the tail section of the fuselage.

    The two-part wing with a semi-symmetrical profile is also a classic all-balsa construction with an iron-on foil coating; the halves slide from the side onto the carbon tube coupler and secure with screws. The dimensional ailerons and flaps are controlled by micro servos mounted in the wing using short wire rods with ball studs.

    The tail surfaces are light all-balsa construction with an iron-on foil coating.

    The main chassis is made of duralumin with light foam wheels of large diameter, the wire spur is coupled with the turn signal.

    You will need at least a six-channel RC kit to control the model, but to use the full potential of the model you should use at least a seven-channel computerized RC kit allowing independent control and mixing of ailerons and flaps. For rudder control, use good 17g microservos with metal gears, such as KAVAN GO-17MG, Hitec HS-85MG; for 3D wildness, use strong and fast digital micro servos like the KAVAN GO-1020MG.

    To drive the model, you can use a 500-600 W AC electric motor, such as the KAVAN PRO 3542-1150 with a 12x6-6.5" propeller, a 50-60A regulator and a 3S LiPo battery 2200-3000 mAh with a load capacity of at least 30C; for really 3D antics, at least 40C.

    ARF kit includes: assembled fuselage, wing, iron-on foil-coated tail surfaces, carbon wing joint, duralumin main landing gear and spur with light wheels, propeller cone, small accessories, sheet of self-adhesive decals, instructions.
