Land Rover Defender was off-road manufactured by British car manufacturer Land Rover. It has been produced since 1983, although the name Defender has been used since 1990. Production ended in January 2016.

Since 1984, Defendr had closing windows, a 2.5-liter diesel engine, 68 horsepower (51 kW). Low compression version of the 3.5 liter V8 Range Rover engine has improved performance. It was initially available in 110 with the Range Rover LT95 four-speed gearbox with integral gearbox and vacuum operated differential lock, then later in conjunction with the high-strength Santana five-speed gearbox.
