PNP version

The Plug-N-Play (PNP) version comes out of the box with the drive unit and servos installed, ready to connect to a compatible receiver of your choice (sold separately), plus the transmitter and batteries you also supply (also sold separately ). Simply install the receiver, complete the final assembly and you're ready to fly!

SMART technology

Both the Super Timber 1.7m PNP and BNF Basic versions are equipped with the exclusive Spektrum Avian 85A Smart Lite controller, which can provide a range of real-time power system related telemetry data including total battery voltage, motor speed, current draw. and more – with Smart and non-Smart batteries – via compatible receivers (including AR637TA installed in BNF Basic version) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 to 20, iX12 up to 20 and more), during the flight. It also features an optional engine/thrust reverser that offers special ground handling and other options.

Powerful powertrain

The installed Spektrum brushless motor is compatible with 4S to 6S LiPo batteries and offers a wide range of performance - from sport flying and basic aerobatics with 4S batteries to hovering and unlimited vertical performance with 6S batteries! The convenient top-mounted and magnetically secured hatch and quick-release, multi-position battery holder make it easy to install and remove common 3200-5000 mAh batteries.

Multipurpose and versatile

Double beveled rudder edges allow all rudder control surfaces to be deflected to large angles for excellent control and aerobatic capabilities. Plus, the flaps can move in both directions for optional full-span aileron use for even more aggressive capabilities. Or, at smaller deflections, the control can be smooth and responsive, so you can fly as calmly or wildly as you like!

Super STOL (short takeoff and landing)

The wing design has a larger span and larger area than the Timber X 1.2m and Turbo 1.5m models, plus it has swept wing tips and can be equipped with the included optional leading edge slots for slow flight and STOL performance. The slots snap into place without the use of glue or tools and can be easily removed and reinstalled in seconds! These features, along with the lightweight construction, large flaps and high-performance brushless motor, allow you to jump into the air or soar down and land in just a few meters.

Super versatile equipment

From thick grass to gravel paths and dirt roads - even lakes and ponds - you can easily take off from these and many other surfaces with the Super Timber 1.7m model. The durable, articulated and shock-absorbing chassis is tilted forward to prevent tipping over! It also features inflatable tundra-style rubber tires (including an air pump) mounted on unique beadlock wheels to better absorb the bumps of rough surfaces and not-so-great landings. Also included is accessories for mounting an optional float kit (EFLA550, sold separately) that includes a water rudder for superior steering control. Whichever landing gear you choose to fly, they are easy to install and can be swapped out in minutes!

Super easy assembly

No glue is required for assembly and the Super Timber can be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge the flight battery. The elevator halves snap into place and the plug-in wing with hands-free servo connector connections are secured by innovative wing lock mechanisms, so no fasteners or tools are required to install or remove them. Plus, a specially designed clip in the fuselage holds the wing clutch tube so you'll never forget it when the wing is removed for more convenient storage and transport!

Super durable

A composite-reinforced hollow-core construction with EPO material provides a lightweight yet durable model aircraft airframe. The installed digital servos with metal gears are accurate, durable and reliable. In the unfortunate event that you damage any part of the airframe and are unable to repair it, there are a number of replacement parts available.

Super LED lighting

Like most other Timber models, the Super Timber has realistic-looking LED landing, navigation and strobe lights that are factory-installed and powered by a flight battery. It even has additional position and landing lights for better visibility!

Super mounting features

Innovative and new is the assembly system, which uses the locking of the wing and the elevator, without the need to use screws. Assembly or disassembly is a matter of seconds. Due to the size of the model, it is very necessary to remove the wing during transport. This is secured by fuses and the servo connectors are in the holders, so you don't have to worry about pushing the connectors.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of flying RC models you need suitable adhesives, a tool kit and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our range we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). For assembly, Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy, and for cutting, Modelcraft cutting knife with A6 washer.

For quick repairs of aircraft models, we recommend a fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g

Protective covers for batteries

Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity while maintaining small dimensions and low weight. LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore need to be carefully protected.
