The SKY RC D100neo 200W two-channel charger was designed with the aim of providing everything needed to charge two accumulators with large currents simultaneously "under one roof", including a mains supply, with simple operation and the possibility of communication with a PC with the SkyCharger program. D100neo allows charging and discharging common types of cells ( NiCd, NiMH, Li-poly, Li-ion, Li-Fe, Li-HV, Pb), in addition, both channels are equipped with built-in six-channel balancers that ensure very safe and comfortable charging of lithium batteries.
The intelligent software offers the functions of the usual function and is designed for practical users who purchase the charger to charge the batteries, but at the same time it allows the control and monitoring of the charging on the PC:
- program for new types of "high voltage" lithium batteries LiHV with terminal voltage for charging up to 4.35 V
- setting the end voltage for charging and discharging for lithium batteries (allows more gentle charging, which is liked by pilots, or, on the contrary, overcharging, which is favored by "car enthusiasts" - max. 4.22V for LiPo, 4.12V for Li-ion, 3.67V for LiFe , 4.37V for LiHV with current firmware)
- programs for charging maintenance-free lead AGM batteries and charging lead batteries at low temperatures
- measurement of total voltage and voltage of individual cells (for lithium batteries) even outside of charging/discharging
- measuring the internal resistance of the entire set and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
Overview of basic functions and parameters
- Input supply voltage 10 – 30 V DC (to fully utilize the power of the charger, the power supply should provide a voltage of at least 24 V)
- Mains supply 100-240 V/50-60 Hz
- For charging and discharging 1 – 15 NiCd/NiMH cells, 1 – 6 Li-ion/Li-poly/Li-Fe/LiHV cells or 6/12/24 V lead-acid batteries with liquid electrolyte and maintenance-free AGM
- Adjustable charging current 0.2 A - 10.0 A
- Adjustable discharge current (0.1 A - 2.0 A)
- Max. total power for charging 100 W when powered from the mains or 2x 100 W when powered from a DC source
- Max. power for discharging 5 W
- Termination of charging using automatic delta-peak for NiCd and NiMH accumulators
- Lithium and Pb batteries are charged using the "constant current/constant voltage" method
- Adjustable delta-peak detection sensitivity for NiCd and NiMH batteries
- Adjustable terminal voltage for charging and discharging for lithium and lead-acid batteries
- Repeated cyclic charge/discharge or discharge/charge operation for NiCd and NiMH batteries, up to 3 cycles
- Three charging modes for lithium batteries - normal charging, balancing charging and storage charging/discharging
- Three charging modes for lead-acid batteries - for normal lead-acid "car batteries", for lead-acid AGM batteries (batteries with electrodes separated by a glass fiber separator impregnated with electrolyte) and for charging lead-acid batteries at low temperatures (-20°C to +5°C).
- Termination of charging when the set time or the supplied charge is exceeded
- Measurement of the total voltage of the set and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
- Measurement of the total internal resistance of the set and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
- USB-C port with optional function - for updating the firmware and controlling the charger and monitoring the charging progress on a PC in the Charge Master program or as a power/charge source for mobile devices (QC3.0/PD)
- Backlit LCD display with a simple and clear menu and display of parameters during charging/discharging
- A number of warning text messages contribute to safe operation – wrong input voltage, wrong connection, unsuitable battery or its condition, wrong output polarity, etc.
- Protection against reverse polarity and short circuit at the output.
- Fan for forced cooling.
- Compact plastic box, small dimensions
- Built-in power supply.
The charger is equipped with XT60 output sockets in both channels and universal sockets for JST-XH service connectors allowing direct connection of battery power cables and JST-XH service connectors of 2-6S sets - if you use sets with XT60 and JST-XH connectors, you can do without charging cables and adapters. You can use standard Sky RC or RC System adapters to connect the service connectors of other systems.
Note: When charging lead-acid batteries, the charger uses a final voltage of 2.40 V/cell (or 2.46 V/cell in the program for AGM batteries and in the program for cold charging) - for this reason, it is suitable for charging classic lead-acid batteries (car batteries) and gel accumulators with a reversible valve. It is not suitable for charging gas-tight gel batteries, which must not be charged at more than 2.30 V/cell.
Charger set includes: D100neo charger, mains cable, manual.
