Characteristics
The Arrma Kraton 6S RC car model is built on the proven 6S BLX platform and improved for even higher speed and durability. Thanks to the powerful AC motor and Spektrum Smart electronics, it can reach speeds of up to 104 km/h. The very first look at the model reveals that the new Kraton 6S EXB is ready for a wild ride in EXtreme Bashing style . With new EXB aluminum parts for high durability, it will be unstoppable. The red anodized aluminum parts, in combination with the black-grey bodywork, also create a unique aggressive look. Excellent controllability of the model even at higher speeds is ensured by electronic stabilization AVC (Active Vehicle Control).
The Kraton 6S remote control car model offers even more utility, thanks to upgraded oil-filled aluminum shock absorbers, V2 chassis stiffeners and EXB parts. The chassis consists of 7075 T6 aluminum chassis plate. All this, including full-metal differentials, transmission and steel drive shafts, provides precise, sharp handling that can stand up to rough handling.
The propulsion system of the 6S LiPo battery powered RC model includes a highly efficient Spektrum Firma ™ 2050Kv AC motor which is perfectly matched with a waterproof* Spektrum Firma 150A Smart V2 controller with IC5 connectors. A new regulator was used for the model, which provides more punch and a better driving feeling. On a hard flat surface you can use the included optional pinion and you will reach maximum speed. The new Spektrum S665 servo provides 11% more torque than its predecessor and the newly tuned servo-saver gives a more responsive steering response.
Maximum traction and lightning acceleration are made possible by dBoots COPPERHEAD 2 tires with large tread blocks. Tires are glued to spoked wheels with durable carriers. Everything is rounded off by a detailed bodywork with colorful EXB design and a high downforce wing on a redesigned bracket. The model comes with a Spektrum DX3 Smart transmitter, which provides an LED indication of the charge status of the Spektrum Smart drive battery.
EXB (EXtreme Bash) Components
The model now features heavy-duty EXB parts that give the 1:8 scale Kraton unstoppable power.
Improved servo-saver
The redesigned servo-saver reduces backlash and has greater actuation torque, resulting in precise control and excellent steering feedback.
Oil dampers
The aluminum body oil shocks absorb bumps with ease, mounted on EXtreme Bash 7075 T6 anodized aluminum shock towers front and rear, and feature EXB shock heads. The piston rods are protected by a dust cover.
dBoost tires
The off-road pattern of the dBoots COPPERHEAD 2 tires provides high grip on a wide variety of surfaces. The tires are mounted on stylish spoked wheels that complete the look of the model.
Multi-element central brace
The laser-etched 3mm chassis plate is made from durable 7075 T6 anodized aluminum. The chassis is supported by strong transverse braces and a central two-element brace for maximum durability.
Powertrain
Long-lasting performance in demanding conditions is ensured by steel half-axles, front and rear metal differentials and a gearbox for increased torque.

AC regulator SPEKTRUM™ FIRMA™ 150A V2 SMART 3S-6S
The control of the model is provided by a modern SPEKTRUM™ FIRMA™ 150A V2 SMART controller with a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 microcontroller, which is able to capture complete telemetry and transmit it to the receiver using an integrated wire in the new IC5 connector. Data is transmitted via the SRXL2 protocol. The controller reads information about the type, temperature and voltage of the battery cells directly from the Smart battery. Current, temperature, total battery voltage, individual battery cell voltage, battery temperature, remaining capacity and engine speed are available in real time.
The electronics are completely encased in a special potting material that prevents moisture* or dirt from entering the electronics. The regulator is switched on and adjusted with the buttons that are under the rubber cover.
The upgraded V2 firmware ensures more vigorous performance and a confident driving feeling.

SR6200A receiver
Spektrum SR6200A 6-channel RC receiver with DSM2/DSMR modulation. It has excellent range and response, especially in places where there are multiple systems operating in the 2.4 GHz band. The receiver is equipped with the patented Spektrum AVC (Active Vehicle Control) system and full telemetry range. The receiver supports Spektrum Smart technology.
AVC (Active Vehicle Control) technology
AVC technology is an advanced Spektrum technology from Horizon Hobby, for RC model cars. This stabilization system brings a whole new way of driving RC cars. AVC technology uses sensors for steering correction and throttle at the same time. Thanks to appropriate interventions in the steering and engine performance, the result is a smoother ride, stable behavior on the level and in corners, and safer holding of the track. It goes without saying that the sensitivity of the steering can be changed, including the possibility of turning it off, leaving everything in the hands of the rider.
Spektrum DX3 2.4GHz DSMR RC transmitter
The new Spektrum DX3 RC transmitter has 3 channels and is compatible with the Spektrum AVC stabilization system and Spektrum Smart telemetry. Spektrum SMART technology
The model is equipped with components with Spektrum Smart technology , which offers more information about the model, easier operation and battery care. All SMART components, including batteries, are capable of communicating with each other and transmitting telemetry.
The included DX3 transmitter displays the state of charge of the Smart battery in the model.
As a tuning you can view complete telemetry ( revolutions, speed, temperature and more ):
- By adding a BT module to the DX3 set transmitter, which will allow the model to be connected to the clear Spektrum Dashboard graphic application on a phone or tablet.

We recommend to buy
To put the model into operation, it is necessary to add a drive battery and an adequate charger for the drive battery.
Recommended batteries
It is most suitable to use one LiPo drive battery with 4 or 6 cells (14.8, 22.2 V). In this case, you short-circuit the second input of the Y-cable with the attached jumper IC5, which is already part of the RC car package.
It is also possible to operate the model on a pair of two-cell (7.4 V) or three-cell (11.1 V) LiPo batteries connected in series. In this case, you connect both accumulators to the Y-cable with which the controller is factory-fitted. The disadvantage of this solution is that both accumulators must be completely identical and equally charged. Therefore, it is preferable to use one 4 or 6 cell accumulator, see above.
- For regular riding, one Spektrum 14.8 V 5000 mAh LiPo battery with Smart technology, or Spektrum G2 14.8 V 5000 mAh with Smart G2 technology. Due to the lower speed, this solution is suitable for children.
- For regular riding with a longer operating time, one Spektrum G2 14.8 V 6800 mAh LiPo battery with Smart G2 technology. Due to the limited speed, this solution is suitable for children.
- For the maximum possible speed, we recommend one Black Magic 22.2 V 4200 mAh battery
- For maximum speed, power and driving time, we recommend one Spektrum G2 22.2 V 6800 mAh battery with technology Smart G2 .

Smart G2 batteries are even simpler and safer, thanks to the absence of a balance connector. In addition, G2 batteries have up to 3x faster automatic discharge into storage mode. Smart G2 batteries can only be charged on Spektrum Smart and Smart G2 chargers.

Accessories for normal operation
For the normal operation of RC models, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. From our range of silicone oils, we recommend TLR (Team Losi Racing) silicone oils, see recommended accessories.
For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
Protective covers for accumulators
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. On the contrary, the LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage.
