Monster Truck Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 The Nitro 4WD is a powerful internal combustion engine monster truck that will not disappoint with its performance and design. The Traxxas TRX 3.3 racing engine is installed on an aluminum strength chassis, and its performance is enhanced by a tuned exhaust.
Everything is built on a robust, lightweight chassis of 4 mm 6061-T6 blue anodized aluminum. The giant tires of the 160 mm diameter model provide maximum grip in the field, the car has a great light height, which prevents it from passing through even the greatest inequalities. The new T-Maxx has incredible acceleration and great guidance on the track, thanks to the 4WD drive and the big wheelbase. Reaches up to 70 km / h!
The engine is started with the Traxxas EZ-Start, an integrated electric motor with gearbox and glowing electronics and an external battery with starter button. Simple and great functional. Larger air filter capacity allows longer driving without the need for service. Traxxas Resonator Maxx dual-chamber tuned exhaust increases maximum speed by more than 10%.
Traxxas T-Maxx RC RC Model 3.3 is equipped with a new Bellcrank control system with integrated servo saver. Powerful and fast digital servo is used for control. The car is equipped with an automatic two-speed gearbox that is operated with a toggle switch. Thanks to its low weight, the car responds perfectly.
Closed Differentials are used for massive torque increase and long-term performance. Damper X-rings can keep oil and dirt in virtually maintenance-free operation. You can spend more time riding with minimal maintenance. Since the dampers are completely sealed, they can be tuned with oils of varying viscosity for optimum RC car settings for the track.
The Nitro T-Maxx is now equipped with the Traxxas TQi RC kit, which already has a factory-installed Bluetooth module. You can connect the transmitter to your smartphone or tablet. With Traxxas Link you can change the transmitter settings, such as servo end deflections, exponential displacement curves, and much more. The information from the telemetry sensors is displayed on a clear display.
The Traxxas TSM receiver is now installed in the model. Stabilization TSM helps with appropriate steering interventions to help maintain the desired driving direction. This will result in faster driving with minimal errors. The amount of assistance can be set by the rotary knob on the transmitter.
Traxxas Nitro T-Maxx comes with a 3-channel TQi transmitter. The third channel is controlled by a rocker switch and is primarily designed for reverse control. Traxxas has prepared a complete set for you (Art. No. TRA4995X), which contains all the necessary parts for the return service including the servo. The kit includes a picture of how to install the reverse.
If you decide to install the reverse kit, then the Opti Drive can be retrofitted. The Opti Drive prevents you from shifting reverse / forward while the model is moving. This prevents damage to the gearbox or semi-axles.
The Traxxas TRX 3.3 combustion engine can be run on fuel with a nitromethane content of 10% to 33% after running-in. For normal riding, we recommend fuel with a content of 16% - 20% nitromethane according to the nature of the track surface and the race. A lower percentage of nitromethane is suitable for races with an on-road character; for off-road races a higher nitromethane fuel is better. The lower percentage of nitromethane also means easier engine adjustment and less engine wear. However, it is always necessary to apply engine after-run oil to the engine for after-run oil, which protects the engine's metal parts from corrosion caused by nitromethane residues and regularly applies oil to the air filter - we recommend using H-Speed air filter oil (part number HSPM001).
