Characteristics
Traxxas Ford Fiesta ST Rally VXL RC car model with licensed bodywork in the style of popular rally races. It is built on the proven Slash chassis with 4x4 drive and is therefore suitable for hard surfaces such as asphalt, but also for terrain or lower grass. The 1:10 scale model is powered by high-performance components - the VXL-3S AC motor and controller, which provide stunning acceleration and speeds of up to 96 km/h . For confident driving even at higher speeds, the Ford Fiesta includes TSM electronic ride stabilization. In addition, the model is equipped from the factory with an Extreme Heavy Duty kit for high durability and an exclusive clipless body clamping system.
The excellent chassis design has been retained, including modular construction, cutting-edge long-travel suspension geometry, friction clutch drivetrain and front and rear differentials. Chassis
The chassis of the model made of durable composite nylon is equipped with a long wheelbase and a lowered center of gravity for greater stability. On the underside, the chassis is smooth, so that it does not trip over bumps. The weight was also optimally distributed, where the majority of the mass is stored along the line of the chassis. Side Nerf reinforcements add extra lateral resistance.
Metal differentials
The new Ford Fiesta is equipped with quality differentials with durable metal gears. Precision sealing with X-rings allows differentials to be tuned for specific operating conditions by changing fluid viscosity.
Long shrug
The long stroke of the shoulders dampens even sharp impacts and improves the controllability of the model. In every situation, it will have a precise and quick steering response. Adjustable oil shock absorbers are used on the chassis for endless fun.
Steel steering linkage
Durable steering rods with a 4 mm diameter steel center rod, allow changing the camber and toe settings of the wheels using a flat wrench. You can thus perfectly tune the behavior of the model to your liking.
Friction clutch
The friction clutch uses a special semi-metallic friction material and aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and ensure consistent traction control. The clutch slip intensity can be adjusted without disassembling the model.
Oil dampers
The long stroke Ultra Shock oil shocks are designed to absorb every impact. Double sealing X-rings ensure smooth operation without oil leakage. The properties of the shock absorbers can be changed by preloading the springs, or by replacing the springs with other ones, and the behavior of the shock absorbers can also be adjusted by changing the viscosity of the oil used.
Precise steering
The mechanics of turning the front wheels is realized by means of the Dula-Bell-Crank system, which ensures the precise movement of the rods to the wheels. The steering has an integrated servo-saver that absorbs shocks and protects the servo against overload.
Maxx-Duty axles
Maxx-Duty half-axles with reinforced cardan joints are designed to handle the power of the AC drive without any problems. Large 6mm output shafts for steel wheel carriers.
Rally wheels and tires
The durable rally-style twelve-spoke wheels feature a 12mm dropper and the same offset as the wheels on the Slash 4x4 models. The tires have a unique directional pattern with high grip on and off hard surfaces.

Digital Traxxas servo 2075 high-torque waterproof with DC motor and nylon gears has a torque of 9.0 kg.cm and a speed of 0.17 s/60°@ 6.0 V. For water resistance*, the servo box and the output 1000 edges are fitted with seals. Two ball bearings provide very smooth operation.
Powerful AC motor
The Velineon 550 AC motor is precisely tuned for use in 1:10 RC cars. It provides car models with the perfect balance between performance and optimal efficiency. Another advantage is the long service life, which is determined only by ball bearings. The bearings can be purchased as part of the service kit under order number TRA3352R.
The motor is of the 550 series, has a 4-pole design, which provides up to twice the torque compared to the two-pole version. The rotor is dynamically balanced and wrapped with Kevlar fabric to increase strength.
Electronic controller VXL-3S
Waterproof* electronic Traxxas alternating current controller Velineon VXL-3S V2 with three driving modes, support for modern high-capacity LiPo batteries and easy control with the EZ-Set™ button. Traxxas TQi receiver

Traxxas Stability Management
The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) stability system allows you to experience not only power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speed, but also guarantees much easier steering and control on slippery surfaces such as dust, smooth concrete or even ice and snow.
The receiver has a MEMS 3-axis gyro and an accelerometer, which evaluates the movement of the model on the order of 100 times per second and corrects the model's direction of travel by appropriate interventions in the steering of the front wheels. Traxxas TSM does not limit engine power - you have 100% control over engine power. Algorithms are tuned for each model separately. The level of assistance is set using the multi-function controller on the transmitter or possibly in the Traxxas Link application.

Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of the Traxxas RC car, you need bolt glue, good quality tire glue, silicone shock oil and a set of screwdrivers. We recommend an affordable set of tools for cars from our range.
The thread or head of the screw is dripped with screw glue, which fixes it and the vibrations caused by driving prevent the screw connection from loosening. The screw adhesive has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an adequate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary instant glue, it might be impossible to loosen a screw stuck like this!
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. Never use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening and would gradually create cracks in the tire around the rims!
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the dampers of the model. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. For these cases, so-called repair kits are supplied. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are delivered to all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN surface are easily recognized by their golden-green color.
