One of the coolest and best-looking 1:10 scale RC car models - Traxxas Ford Raptor R comes in the highest Ultimate trim. Its brutal power is further enhanced with a more powerful 540XL brushless motor and VXL-4S controller. Thanks to this, the model reaches speeds of over 96 km/h! A fast digital HV servo is installed, which together with the TSM electronic ride stabilization provides top-notch control. Telemetric data such as speed, rpm, battery voltage and more are available , which you can view in the application on your phone, thanks to the included Bluetooth module. The licensed design of the detailed bodywork is complemented by LED lighting in the front and rear bumpers and a number of color-coordinated parts made of highly durable aluminum.
The Ford F-150 Raptor R builds on the popular and proven 4x4 Slash concept. The model's new fiber-filled nylon chassis has been extended to match the proportions of the real car and has been enhanced with drivetrain and suspension components that further increase strength and durability. Engine power is transmitted through a center differential, an aluminum center shaft to the front and rear metal-geared differentials, and robust telescopic half-axles to the wheels. Excellent shock absorption is ensured by aluminum GTR shock absorbers , which contain a larger amount of oil than standard ones, exceptionally smooth operation thanks to the Teflon coating and convenient spring preload adjustment. Independent suspension with HD arms and aluminum color-anodized rods allows you to adjust the geometry to your own preferences thanks to adjustable links.
The model is equipped with all the usual Traxxas conveniences for maximum user comfort, such as a clipless body, modular chassis, battery compartment, easy-to-set controller with three driving modes (including a mode for children and beginners - 50% power), fixed tooth clearance adjustment and much more. Precise control is provided by the TQi transmitter with precision mechanics. Of course, a wide range of tuning parts is available, including complete spare parts.
Only the Traxxas Pro Scale concept combines professional-level performance with the looks of a real Ford Raptor R. The model also features LED lighting in the front and rear bumpers.
The Raptor R Ultimate is fully equipped with aluminum upgrades with designer color anodizing (rods, center shaft, GTR shocks and more) that add durability for extreme riding. Extreme HD driveshafts are reinforced with extra material and a redesigned design to create a nearly indestructible drivetrain.
The unique body mounting system using hooks in the wheel arches allows for quick battery replacement and the clean look of the model is not disturbed by clips. The body also holds firmly and will not come loose even during somersaults.
The Raptor features the same Velineon 540XL brushless motor as the Maxx® model. It is Traxxas’ largest motor for this type of car and is controlled by the new VXL-4s™ ESC with integrated telemetry and an adjustable BEC at 6.0 or 7.4V. Powered by a 4S LiPo battery, the model delivers incredible acceleration and speed.
Thanks to factory-installed telemetry sensors and a Bluetooth module in the transmitter, you can view real-time telemetry data such as speed, RPM, and battery voltage in the Traxxas Link app on your phone.
The model is equipped with an extra strong and fast servo that provides lightning-fast and reliable steering response in all situations. The servo, with an aluminum center box for heat dissipation and metal gears, has an incredible force of 35 kg·cm at a power supply of 7.4V.
The new extended chassis, with a wheelbase of 384 mm, has been specially developed for the dimensions of this model. In addition to ensuring precise proportions, the longer wheelbase increases stability at high speeds and improves handling. Additional reinforcements have increased structural rigidity for more demanding use.

The Raptor R Ultimate uses the same 4mm steel links as the Slash 4x4. You can easily adjust the link length with a wrench to adjust the camber and toe-in to your needs. The links feature durable ball joints for endless fun.
The bars combine the strength of 6061-T6 aluminum with precision CNC machining for high accuracy. The perfect look is enhanced by brightly colored anodizing and a laser-etched TRX logo.
The arms utilize a trapezoidal construction and are made from Traxxas' most durable material, which maintains its properties even in cold weather. From the racetrack to the skatepark, the Raptor R can withstand even the harshest impacts.
The new robust shock towers are reinforced to withstand a rollover and provide good support not only for the shocks but also for the bodywork.
The GTR shock absorbers with an aluminum body coated with Teflon (PTFE) for smooth operation represent the pinnacle of technology. The piston rod is also coated with extra hard titanium nitride. Their diameter can hold up to 70% more oil than standard Ultra shock absorbers. The shock absorber is equipped with double X-rings to prevent oil leakage around the piston rod. The spring preload is conveniently adjusted using a nut.
The steering mechanism of the front wheels is implemented by means of a Dual-Bell-Crank system, which ensures precise operation of the linkages to the wheels. The steering has an integrated cam servo-saver that absorbs shocks and protects the servo against overload.
The universal compartment holds a 4S LiPo 5000mAh battery for massive power and long runtime. The double-height holder allows for quick and easy battery changes, without clips or Velcro.

A solid motor mounting system with pre-drilled holes according to the gear ratio eliminates the need to worry about setting the correct gear clearance. The gears always fit together precisely for maximum efficiency and long service life.
The center differential absorbs engine shocks and distributes power between the front and rear axles. Unlike traditional differentials, even when some wheels slip, it still delivers power to all wheels.

The driveshafts with reinforced cardan joints are made to handle the power of the AC motor without any problems. The 6 mm output shafts are connected to steel carriers.
The one-piece aluminum center drive shaft is strong, lightweight, and provides smooth operation. The internal splines precisely fit the differential outputs.

The Traxxas Link App is a powerful app that gives you complete control over the operation and tuning of your Traxxas RC model with stunning visualization and absolute precision settings. Traxxas Link can display telemetry data that the model provides in real time, such as speed, RPM, temperature, battery voltage and tilt of the model. (The telemetry provided varies by specific model type). You can share RC model settings, you can create any number of profiles for a specific track or user, such as children. All in an app with brilliant graphics, which is a given from Traxxas.

The 5-channel receiver is also equipped with two connectors for connecting RPM (speed) and V/T (voltage/temperature) telemetry sensors.

Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) not only allows you to experience power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speeds, but also ensures much easier steering and control on slippery surfaces such as dust, smooth concrete or even ice and snow.
The receiver contains a MEMS 3-axis gyro and an accelerometer, which evaluates the movement of the model 100 times per second and corrects the direction of the model by appropriate interventions in the steering of the front wheels. Traxxas TSM does not limit the engine power - you have 100% control over the engine power. The algorithms are tuned for each model separately. The level of assistance is set using the multi-function controller on the transmitter or in the Traxxas Link application.

To operate the model, you need 4x AA batteries for the transmitter, a drive battery and a charger for the drive battery.
The model can be operated on a 2, 3 or 4 cell LiPo battery.
Traxxas universal chargers can charge Traxxas LiPo and NiMH batteries. Traxxas chargers are a simple and safe way to charge batteries. Traxxas uses a unique iD system , thanks to which you are always sure that everything is connected easily and safely. For normal operation of your Traxxas RC car, you need screw glue, quality tire glue, silicone shock absorber oil and a set of screwdrivers. We recommend an affordable car tool set from our range.
Screw glue is applied to the thread or head of the screw, which fixes it and prevents the vibrations caused by driving from loosening the screw connection. Screw glue has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an appropriate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary superglue, a screw glued in this way may be impossible to loosen at all!
Tire glue is used to glue tires to the rim of the wheel. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not glued around the entire circumference, it may burst. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon and at the same time the glue is flexible after hardening. Never use ordinary superglue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks would gradually form in the tire around the rims!
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers. During normal operation, only slight silicone oil leaks occur along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leak can be large. So-called repair kits are available for these cases. The tuning parts offer includes piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating for all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN coating can be easily recognized by their golden-green color.
