Characteristics
The Arrma Mojave 4S 1:8 scale RC model car represents the ideal middle ground between the smaller 3S and larger 6S models. Thanks to the excellent alternating current drive , it travels at speeds of up to 80 km/h. The 4x4 drive and top-notch suspension design guarantee unrivaled driving characteristics. All of this is packed into a realistically crafted desert racing car body with a detailed cockpit, roll cage and roof rails.
The Spektrum 2400kv AC motor and the Spektrum Firma 120A speed controller give the model incredible acceleration and speed. The robust composite chassis and gearbox enhanced with EXB (EXtreme Bash) parts give the model the incredible durability that is typical of the Arrma brand. New on the Arrma 4S platform is a center differential for amazing traction and handling.
High-quality rubber-sealed bearings are used on all rotating parts of the drivetrain, which, along with other elements such as arm guards, transmission cover, receiver box seal and more, provide unstoppable performance in the field, on grass and on hard surfaces. dBoots® FORTRESS™ LP tires glued to the spoked wheels give the MOJAVE 4S excellent grip to overcome any obstacle.
For novice drivers, the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter is included, allowing you to limit power to 75% or 50% until you're ready to use the full potential. Spektrum S652 digital servo control with metal gears is used for control.
Durable construction
The 4S BLX 4X4 platform is designed to handle the high performance of the AC drive and the associated speed. For this, it uses a strong composite chassis with robust arm hinge pins, protective front and rear undercarriage slides, a durable servo-saver, solid gears and high-quality ball bearings.
Parts EXB
Where extra toughness is needed, EXB EXtreme Bash parts are installed. Specifically, these are the front and rear center shafts with a CVD joint and the input and idler gears of the axle differentials.
Protection against dirt
When riding in the most extreme terrain, they will certainly appreciate the shoulder guards, the chassis with dirt removal elements and the inner protective covers on the sides. All this reduces the ingress of dirt into the model, for easier maintenance and a long life.
Modular design
The MOJAVE 4S BLX 4X4 Desert Truck takes advantage of ARRMA's signature modular design for ease of service. Separate, easily removable engine, electronics and differential modules allow quick access.
Oil dampers
The long aluminum body shocks are oil filled and are installed on the taller shock towers. This ensures efficient absorption even of hard impacts.
Wheels and tires
Quality dBoots® FORTRESS™ LP rubber tires are affixed to MT spoked wheels with aluminum nuts and 17mm lugs.
Detailed bodywork
The Baja desert racer style bodywork is finished, featuring stunning graphics and applied decals. Front and rear bumpers complete the stunning look and add extra crash protection. Also factory installed is a rear wheelie bar with rubberized wheels for riding on the rear wheels.
Interior with figurines
The model includes a detailed cockpit with cage protection, a driver and navigator figure. The rear part of the model is processed in the same mock-up and scale.

AC regulator SPEKTRUM™ FIRMA™ 120A SMART 3S-4S
The control of the model is provided by a modern SPEKTRUM™ FIRMA™ 120A SMART controller with a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 microcontroller, which is able to capture complete telemetry and transmit it to the receiver using an integrated wire in the new IC5 connector. Data is transmitted via the SRXL2 protocol. The controller reads information about the type, temperature and voltage of the battery cells directly from the Smart battery. Current, temperature, total Smart battery voltage, Smart battery cell voltage, battery temperature, remaining capacity and engine speed are available in real time.
The electronics are completely encased in a special potting material that prevents moisture* or dirt from entering the electronics. The regulator is switched on and adjusted with the buttons that are under the rubber cover.

Transmitter Spektrum SLT3
The Spektrum SLT3 3-channel steering wheel transmitter operating in the 2.4 GHz band is compatible with the SLT protocol. The light weight of the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter allows you to hold it without fatigue. The steering wheel is covered with a foam rim for a firm grip. The layout of the controls is practical and intuitive - all controls are located so that they are quickly accessible when needed. A secure loop is provided for attachment to the strap.

Spektrum SMART technology
Spektrum Smart technology offers more information about the model, transmission of telemetry, easier operation and battery care. All SMART components, including batteries, are capable of communicating with each other and transmitting telemetry. To display complete telemetry, you must have a compatible Spektrum transmitter with a display. The display of telemetry depends on the type of radio for a specific model.

We recommend to buy
A drive battery and an adequate charger for the drive battery are required to operate the model.
Recommended batteries
It is most suitable to use one LiPo drive battery with 3 or 4 cells (11.1 V, 14.8 V). In this case, leave the other end of the Y-cable blinded by jumper IC5.
- For regular riding, Spektrum 11.1 V 5000 mAh LiPo battery with Smart technology, or Spektrum G2 LiPo 11.1 V 5000 mAh with Smart G2 technology.
- For the maximum possible speed LiPo battery Spektrum 14.8 V 5000 mAh with Smart technology, or Spektrum G2 14.8 V 5000 mAh with Smart G2 technology.
- For maximum speed, power and driving time, the Spektrum G2 14.8 V 6800 mAh LiPo battery with Smart G2 technology.

Smart G2 batteries are even simpler and safer, thanks to the absence of a balance connector. In addition, G2 batteries have up to 3x faster automatic discharge into storage mode. Smart G2 batteries can only be charged on Spektrum Smart and Smart G2 chargers.
Recommended chargers for conventional and Smart batteries
Spektrum Smart chargers can charge both Smart and Smart G2 batteries as well as conventional batteries. Previously sold Smart chargers also support Smart G2 after updating.

Accessories for normal operation
For the normal operation of RC models, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
Protective covers for accumulators
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
