ARF kit legendary British fighter classic balsa structure to drive gasoline engine 50-60 cc. Owing to the favorable ratio of the weight of the airframe and the supporting surface is the "giant" Spitfire suitable for conversion to an electric drive motor classes AXI 5345 Li-poly ten to dvanáctičlánkem.
Giant Spitfire is an ideal project for modelers, who already has experience with simpler models for the giant engines 30-60 cc, and intends to embark on a flying complicated mock fast machines with higher wing loading. The high degree of "předpostavení" goes the completion of the model fairly quickly and easily - of course, due to model size and complexity of on-board electronics and mechanisms retractable landing gear that is not a project for rookies.
The fuselage is a classic design of balsa and plywood laminate cover with a removable transparent cover and the engine cab. The motor is mounted in upside down on the bed corresponding to the plywood motor bulkhead recommended in any case be suspended bed silentblock. Space for servo rudder, elevator, managing Spurs, throttle and choke is located in the fuselage above the wing. Half rudder and elevator are controlled by means of Bowden cables with robust wire rods, with cords spur is controlled drives. Included in the kit is a set of scale modeling cabin interior with the dashboard.
Polosouměrným piece with wing profile is a classic design with balsa ribs and tough coating. The hull fastened with pins and screws. Ailerons and delamination flaps are controlled servos each pair disposed in the wing.
The tail surfaces are design with a symmetrical profile and a solid coating celobalsovým fin and horizontal stabilizer.
The whole model is covered with matt foil iron MonoKote creating very realistic "warrior" color finish, all laminated parts are painted colors resistant to the effects of fuel.
The model is ready for installation of bespoke designed pneumatic retractable landing gear Robart ROBQ1650 maketovými with spring-loaded legs or electric main landing gear Robart ROBQ1651.
To control the model you need at least sedmikanálovou radio system, the optimum is at least a ten. Serva meet standard 3-4 kg.cm a gas choke control spurs spill valves chassis; thick with standard tensile 6-10 kg.cm for rudders and flaps. Given the number and strength of the servos used and the size of the model, make sure to supply a well resolved with accumulators of sufficient capacity to harness a sufficient cross-section.
Kit includes: built and matt foil MonoKote covered fuselage, wing and tail surfaces, sprayed fiberglass engine cover, spur wheels, accessory kit, Scale cab interior and image guidance.
