Characteristics

Dragon Flite 95 V2 is an RC racing sailboat model. The elegant and unusually narrow hull has been carefully tested and is designed for minimal drag on the water. The keel is made of carbon materials, the sails are made of Mylar, the mast and spars are made of carbon, a special 9kg servo winch with metal gears. Requires addition of custom RC kit.

Special for the competition category of demanding meter sailboats . Everything needed to complete is included in the package except the batteries and the RC kit. Complete assembled hull made of durable plastic with installed steering and sail servos with winch, receiver battery box.

All parts are carefully packed in polystyrene filling, the sheets are inserted between cardboard boards to prevent their deformation. The carbon mast has aluminum fittings, the hull has a rubber front. Carbon booms are stored in a separate box. Plastic parts of the stand are also included, which are easy to assemble. The full carbon keel is rectangular in shape with a symmetrical profile and has a glossy finish. The weight of the keel is colored white.

High ship performance

In order to achieve the maximum performance of the ship, the hull shape and sails were optimized. The bow has a rubber tip, a deep carbon keel with weight and an effective rudder.

The set package includes a fully assembled hull with installed servos, mast and spars with complete sails. Necessary accessories to complete the boat, instruction manual and stand.

Rudder control rod

Servo steering with metal gears is located in the hull, the rod is led through a rubber grommet to the connector on the steering lever.

Clean hull shapes

Great attention was paid to the hydrodynamics of the hull, which is very slim and has a smooth surface. Therefore, the boat offers minimal resistance to the water, which is reflected in the speed and acceleration.

The stern of the ship's hull

The main control elements are located at the stern of the ship, i.e. the rudder with steering lever and tie rod, and the winch pulley for setting the sails.

Electronics space

Under the hull superstructure cover there is a space for the receiver, steering and sail winch servos and a box for batteries.

Boom with turnbuckle

Tension regulation when the mainsail is turned off is ensured by a tensioner with a screw mechanism. According to the conditions and the strength of the wind, the deflection of the sail is chosen to achieve the highest possible efficiency under the prevailing wind conditions.

Four types of sails are recommended for Joysway models, they are DF95: A, B, C and D. The sail area decreases from A, B, C to D, so they are suitable for light, stronger, medium and strong winds. these sail dimensions are within the rules of the DF95 racing class. For operation, you need a transmitter and receiver, 4x AA batteries for powering the ship's electronics and 4x AA batteries for the transmitter - GP SUPER alkaline battery LR6 (AA) (1pc).

It is also possible to use charging cells to power the model - GP USB charger Eco E411 + 4AA GP ReCyko 2100.

Recommended RC kits

A minimum 2-channel transmitter and receiver is required to control the rudder servo and sail winch.

Stand upgrade
