Competition RC model of Dragonforce 65 V7 ARS sailboat with innovations for higher quality. New hardware for easier mounting, 50 micron Mylar sails, new powerful digital servo steering, new stand. It requires the addition of your own RC kit (receiver and transmitter are not included in the package).

The Joysway Dragonforce 65 V7 is a competition RC model of a remote control sailboat that was developed by top designers (Mike Weston, Mark Dicks and John Tushingham). ABS hull, carbon masts and competition sails, deep aluminum keel with weight. The boat is based on an ICE design with an ABS hull, profiled aluminum fins and a large rudder. Servos are installed. The RG65 class boat is designed for everyone who is interested in experiencing the racing atmosphere.

Rudder control rod

The digital servo steering is located in the hull, the rod is led through a rubber grommet to the connector on the steering lever.

Head sail

The mainsail is made of 50 micron Mylar film, reinforced at the head with a top brace and off to the lower spar.

Boom with turnbuckle

Tension regulation when the mainsail is turned off is ensured by a tensioner with a screw mechanism. According to the conditions and the strength of the wind, the deflection of the sail is chosen to achieve the highest possible efficiency under the prevailing wind conditions.

Hull optimization

To achieve the maximum performance of the ship, the shape of the hull was optimized, which was also reinforced with ribs. The bow has a rubber tip, a deep aluminum keel with weight and a large rudder.

Four types of sails are recommended for Joysway models, they are DF65 A+, A, B, C, the sail area decreases from A+, A, B to C, they are suitable for light wind, normal wind and strong wind. these sail dimensions are within the rules of the DF65 racing class. We recommend to buy

For operation, you need a transmitter and receiver, 4x AA batteries for powering the electronics - GP SUPER alkaline battery LR6 (AA) (1pc).

It is also possible to use charging cells to power the model - GP NiMH accumulator ReCyko Pro Professional HR06 AA.

Stand upgrade

The original stand can be upgraded with the kit: Joysway stand upgrade: Dragon. You can then store the boat on the shore in an almost horizontal position so that it does not capsize in the wind.
