Package contents

Characteristics
The Krick Folkeboot 1:7.6 RC kit is an RC boat model kit with a total length of 106 cm. The package includes laser-cut wooden parts, hardware, a pre-engraved deck for building the ship. Pre-cut sheets must be glued and sewn. The load keel 20391 is specially cast and is not included in the package due to the higher weight (sold separately). It has already cast threaded rods that are inserted into the wooden keel and screwed from the inside.
For experienced modellers, a conversion kit is available with a larger foresail and accessories that pull behind the mast to the other side when turning with two additional sail servo winches. This option can also be retrofitted.
We recommend to buy
The model can be built as static or as functional floating with remote control. If you decide on a functional model, you will also need sevro rudders, a servo with a winch, an RC sourava - a receiver with a transmitter (at least 2 channels, with an optional conversion of sail control at least 4 channels), a receiver battery and a charger. In addition, a load keel of 3.6 kg - #20391 is required.
For construction, we recommend buying tools, glue and paints.
Modeling tools and mat
Building model ships requires the right tools. We recommend an excellent set of Modelcraft tools for ship modelers (set of 12 pieces), or Modelcraft tools for modelers (set of 18 pieces). We also recommend the purchase of nylon clamps and indispensable modeling pins. We recommend a modeling mat for editing, precise cutting, gluing parts and also as table protection.
Glue and paint
For gluing, we recommend universal dispersion glue and Robitronic instant glue medium 20ml. We recommend acrylic enamel paints for coloring. Apply colors with quality brushes (flat brushes for surfaces, round brushes for details).
