Automatic rotation

Self-righting is not only a convenient feature, but allows you to use the full potential of speed and fury without inhibitions. There is no need to limit the fun, in case of a capsize, the boat will automatically roll back within a few seconds.

Precise control

The Deep-V hull made of durable ABS carefully combines speed with nimble handling for an exciting ride. The new electronics layout dramatically improves handling by concentrating weight along the central axis. The result is razor-sharp handling.

Speed up to 80 km/h

Step on the gas and the VXL-6s Marine AC drive system transforms the energy from the two batteries into furious acceleration. The motor transmits power to a composite propeller using a straight flex shaft. This reliable system brings an incredible speed of up to 80 km/h.

Hull construction

The 36" (92 cm) long hull is made of durable and lightweight vacuum-molded ABS. It's built to withstand impact at high speeds, while its deep-V shape with sharp lines provides crisp handling and stability. At higher speeds, only a small area of the hull touches the surface, which reduces friction and vibration.

Stapleless cover

The top cover is attached to the fuselage with four quick release lock nuts. Simply unlock the nuts with the included wrench for easy access to the electronics and battery replacement. Thanks to the foam seal, the cover fits precisely and stays firmly in place even during rough driving.

Modular design

The motor together with the electronic elements are bolted to the mounting plate, which can be dismantled as a single unit for easy maintenance by loosening the shaft and a few screws.

Accumulator bed and center of gravity

The new battery compartment is located closer to the central part for significantly better stability. The length of the compartment 218 mm allows the batteries to be placed further forward or further back for optimal balance or changing the center of gravity. The batteries are fixed using Velcro straps.

Flood chamber

If the model is overturned, the flood chamber will immediately begin to fill with water through the opening in the upper part of the hull. The weight of the water and the foam padding on the opposite side of the bow will turn the model back. After adding gas, the water is immediately drained from the chamber.

Propeller

Countless hours of testing prototypes and configurations resulted in a two-bladed composite boat propeller with the ideal balance of performance, efficiency and durability.

Aluminum fittings

The 6000 series high-strength aluminum rudder is blue anodized for an unmistakable look, without the worry of corrosion. The screws on the model are also made of stainless steel. On the front side of the rudder there is an intake hole for water cooling.

Trimming surfaces and fins

At the rear of the model, trim panels are installed, which are factory-set to a neutral position. By slightly bending them, you can experiment and change the driving characteristics for higher stability, more agile driving, etc.

Water cooling

A suction hole in the rudder supplies water to the engine and regulator. The sealed motor housing allows water to flow directly around the aluminum body for maximum cooling. This efficient design helps maintain the operating temperature of the components.

Flexible shaft

The new 4.7 mm flexible shaft has a 25% larger diameter. In addition, the Spartan maximizes efficiency and reduces drag by shortening and straightening the shaft.

Waterproof components*

The model and its components are designed to minimize the risk of water ingress to the electronics, such as the sealing rings on the servo, the epoxied regulator, or the receiver housed in a patented box with a foam grommet.

Eye-catching graphics

All graphics on the model are already applied from the factory. At first glance, it impresses with its distinctive appearance and is also highly visible.

Servo steering

Digital servo standard size Traxxas servo 2056 6.2kg.cm waterproof with DC motor and nylon gears has a torque of 6.2 kg.cm and a speed of 0.20 s/60°@ 6.0 V. For water resistance*, the servo box is fitted with a seal.

Velineon 540XL marine AC motor

The Velineon 540XL Marine AC motor with water cooling has a specially shaped cooling jacket in which water circulates. The Velineon 540XML motor has a balanced rotor, high-speed bearings and a neodymium magnet with high thermal stability.

Powerful regulator

The VXL-6s Marine BL regulator is waterproof, water-cooled, with the possibility of powering up to 6 LiPol cells. It has three programmable profiles, Sport, Race and Training. Sport has 100% forward, 15% reverse, Race only 100% forward and Training 50% forward, 15% reverse. Thermal protection against overload and overcurrent protection are a matter of course.

Traxxas TQi RC kit with Bluetooth ready

Traxxas has prepared for you a completely new series of two-channel RC kits with Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth module (sold separately) will allow you to connect the RC model with the clear graphic application Traxxas Link, which you can install on your smartphone for free.

The Traxxas Link app for Apple devices is available for free on the AppStore , the app for Google Android devices is free on GooglePlay .

The Traxxas Link App is a powerful application that gives you complete control over the operation and tuning of your Traxxas RC model with stunning visualization and absolute accuracy of settings. Traxxas Link can display telemetry data that the model provides in real time, such as speed, rpm, temperature, battery voltage and model roll. (Telemetry provided varies by specific model type). You can share settings of RC models, you can create any number of profiles for a specific track or users, e.g. children. All in the app with the brilliant graphics that come naturally from Traxxas.

Telemetry options vary by model. It may be necessary to install telemetry sensors to obtain telemetry data. Compatible telemetry parts with this model can be found in the "Accessories - Telemetry" section. More information on telemetry installation here.

Traxxas TQi receiver

RC receiver Traxxas TQi 5 channel. TSM with telemetry for Traxxas TQi transmitters. Simple operation, pairing with a button. LED status indication. 3-axis MEMS sensors are integrated in the receiver for learning the position of the receiver.

The 5-channel receiver is also equipped with two connectors for connecting telemetry sensors RPM (revolutions) and V/T (voltage / temperature).

Furthermore, a telemetry extension module can be connected to the 4-pin connector, into which you can connect up to 6 more sensors, including a very accurate GPS speed sensor.

Traxxas Stability Management

The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) stabilization system allows you to experience not only the performance, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speed, but also guarantees much easier driving and control over the model.

The receiver has a MEMS 3-axis gyro and an accelerometer, which evaluates the model's movement 100 times per second and corrects the model's direction of travel with appropriate controls. Traxxas TSM does not limit engine power - you have 100% control over engine power. Algorithms are tuned for each model separately. The level of assistance is set using the multi-function controller on the transmitter or possibly in the Traxxas Link application.

Accessories for normal ship operation

For the normal operation of the RC model ship, you need a special grease for lubricating the ship's shafts. The special composition ensures the smooth operation of the shaft in the Teflon tube while maintaining the maximum service life of the components. We recommend Traxxas grease, or Marine grease, or Marine grease with grease nipple.

Wireless connection with the phone

By adding a Bluetooth module to the transmitter, you get the function of wireless connection of the RC model with the Traxxas Link application, which you can install on your phone for free. We recommend a phone holder for attaching the phone to the transmitter.

Trailer for transport

For boat transportation in style, we recommend the Traxxas Spartan/DCB M41 three-axle trailer. You can tow the trailer behind the TRX-4 / TRX-6 (incl. high Trail) or Ford Raptor R models.
