Three flight modes for quick piloting training

SAFE technology makes the learning process of flying an RC helicopter easier and allows you to choose a flight mode. Each flight mode has different features that correspond to the level of piloting and advanced stability helps with control. In addition, SAFE technology allows the use of a Panic button that automatically returns the Blade 120 S2 to stable flight.

• Beginner - the helicopter is easy to control, prevents the occurrence of inappropriate flight positions, deflections are small, therefore it limits the maximum tilt angles.
  
• Advanced - the bank limit is restricted less, but the flight envelope is still protected by higher stability.
  
• Expert - no tilt limit is set, steering is free without restrictions.
  

Small even for indoors

The Blade 120 S2 helicopter is perfect for calm, windless outdoor flying, yet small enough to fly indoors. It comes fully assembled and ready to fly.

Solid and durable construction

The model's lightweight airframe is constructed from durable plastics and carbon fiber components, ensuring mechanical precision and tolerance to absorb typical accidents.

Paddleless mechanics

The rotor head mechanics contain a relatively small number of components, which reduces weight, increases control accuracy and reduces repair requirements in the event of a crash.

Spectrum Technology

The 4-in-1 controller installed in the model features a Spektrum™ 2.4 GHz DSMX® compatible receiver, main and tail motor controllers, and paddleless stabilization. Telemetry can also be used with compatible Spektrum transmitters. Count on the industry-leading reliability of Spektrum technology for safe flying.

The RTF version includes a 6-channel Spektrum MLP6 transmitter. A three-position switch selects flight mode, and a button activates the Panic function. An LED indicates the status of the power battery (green, yellow, and red). If red is on, the transmitter emits warning tones.

Dual deflections and digital trims are a matter of course.

Battery with charger inside the package

The USB charger can be powered by USB sources or computers. The LiPol 3.7 V 500 mAh battery included in the set offers an average flight time of 5 minutes.

USB source

We recommend a powerful QC 3.0 USB power supply to power the USB charger. With this power supply, you will achieve significantly shorter charging times compared to classic 5V USB sources (such as phone chargers).

Blade Helicopter Maintenance Accessories

For normal operation of flying RC helicopter models, you need a suitable set of tools and a case for storing LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). For assembly, Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy.

Quick repair adhesives

For quick repairs of helicopter models, we recommend fast-curing instant glues. From our offer, we recommend Robitronic instant glue medium 20ml or Roket Cyano Gel gel instant glue 20ml.

Screw locking devices

To secure screws against loosening, we recommend Robitronic blue screw glue 10ml.

Gear lubricants

For gentle lubrication of gears, we recommend the Modelcraft precision oiler with 7.5ml Teflon oil.

Electronics protection

For electronics protection NANOPROTECH ELECTRIC 150ml.

Protective covers for batteries

Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity while maintaining small dimensions and low weight. LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore need to be carefully protected.
