SAFE stabilization

The Blade Nano S RC helicopter model is equipped with SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology - a revolutionary electronic flight protection system that will allow everyone to gain greater confidence in flying.
With the universal SAFE technology flight mode system, you will gradually master the control of the helicopter. To do this, you can use flight modes at your discretion, which you can easily change with a switch.

Flight modes

• Stability - Z mode : Maximum model tilts are limited. When the levers are moved to neutral, the model stabilizes.
  A new feature is the automatic altitude hold function - if the throttle is in the neutral (center) area, the model maintains a constant altitude.
  The climb and descent are controlled by the engine speed. This mode is ideal for beginners. A constant altitude is maintained using the accelerometer.
  
• Stability mode : Maximum model tilts are limited. When the levers are moved to neutral, the model stabilizes.
  The rotation speed is reduced. The helicopter uses a stability sensor. This mode is intended for intermediate pilots.
  
• Agility mode : This mode offers full control without any restrictions. You can fly the helicopter on its back and perform acrobatic maneuvers.
  

Panic Mode

If you find yourself in trouble, activating Panic Mode will automatically bring the model into a stable hover, preventing a crash. A great feature that will save you money and time spent on repairs.

SAFE-Z flight level control

The SAFE-Z altitude control feature helps keep the helicopter at the same altitude using a carefully programmed accelerometer.

Managed team

The Blade Nano S3 RC helicopter model has great potential thanks to the controlled collective, which changes the angle of attack of the rotor blades. This system, like in large helicopters, ensures precise control and the ability to perform complex aerobatics.

Light and strong frame

Thanks to the extensive use of carbon components in the construction and strong and, above all, lightweight composite plastic made of highly flexible polymers, the model has low weight and high resistance in the event of a collision.

Control unit

With the new design of the control unit with a perpendicular mounting on the airframe, the electronic sensors have better resistance to vibrations. The control unit is mounted on flexible silent blocks.

Fast linear servos

The digital linear nano servos in the Nano S model weigh only 2.3 g! Only thanks to this can the model achieve extraordinary performance.

Painted cabin

The Nano S has a finished light colored fairing with a new design and new Blade logo. The rudder has the SAFE logo.

Blade Helicopter Maintenance Accessories

For normal operation of flying RC helicopter models, you need a suitable set of tools and a case for storing LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). For assembly, Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy.

Quick repair adhesives

For quick repairs of helicopter models, we recommend fast-curing instant glues. From our offer, we recommend Robitronic instant glue medium 20ml or Roket Cyano Gel gel instant glue 20ml.

Screw locking devices

To secure screws against loosening, we recommend Robitronic blue screw glue 10ml.

Gear lubricants

For gentle lubrication of gears, we recommend the Modelcraft precision oiler with 7.5ml Teflon oil.

Electronics protection

Protective covers for batteries

Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity while maintaining small dimensions and low weight. LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore need to be carefully protected.
