A standalone MKS servo programmer/tester with extended programming options. Thanks to the touch screen, you have a convenient programming and testing tool at your disposal that can be used anytime, anywhere. During programming, the servo is powered by the receiver battery connected to the programmer (5.1-15 V depending on the type of servo and its operating voltage). All parameters are first set on the DSP-2 display and then uploaded to your servo. The programmer can also work as a servo tester with a selectable repetition rate, usable for all servos - analog and digital, with a neutral of 1.5 ms and a narrowband of 760 µs. It can also measure the pulse width of the control signal for classic servos (PWM) on the channel outputs of receivers.
Programmer usage conditions
- Power supply for programming: 5.1-15.0 V (MUST use a power supply with a voltage corresponding to the programmed servo)
- Power supply for testing: 3.0-15 V (MUST use a power supply with a voltage corresponding to the tested servo)
- Compatible servos for programming: MKS programmable digital servos; Normal or Advanced functions can be set depending on the servo type. Compatible servos for testing: analog and digital, with a neutral of 1.5 ms and a narrowband of 760 µs. Normal (standard) programmable functions. Neutral: Sets the width of the control pulses in the neutral/center position of the servo. Max_PWM: The upper limit of the width of the control pulses and the corresponding amount of servo deflection will be limited by this value. Min_PWM: The lower limit of the width of the control pulses and the corresponding amount of servo deflection will be limited by this value. Reverse: Reverses the direction of the servo deflection. />Dead_Band (Band of insensitivity): The deadband width indicates the amount of change in the pulse width of the control signal before the position of the servo output shaft/lever changes.
CMD_Lost (Enable Fail-safe): In the event of a control signal loss, the servo will go to the preset emergency position corresponding to the “CMD_Position” value.
CMD_Position (Emergency Deviation): If the “CMD_Lost” (Enable Fail-safe) option is enabled, it sets the emergency deviation of the servo in the event of signal loss
CMD_Time (Waiting Time): The servo will go to the emergency deviation “CMD_Position” after the “CMD Time” time has elapsed in the event of a loss signalAdvanced programmable functions
Same as Normal functions and additionally:
Soft_Start: After power is turned on, the servo slowly moves to the starting position corresponding to the control signal.
L_Angle: Max. servo deflection size to the left.
R_Angle: Max. servo deflection amount to the left.
Servo_Power (Max. engagement): The amount of engagement of the motor will be limited by this value - limits the max. power of the servo motor.
Speed_Enable (Adjustable speed): Enables servo speed limitation.
Speed_Limit (Speed limit): Sets the servo speed limitation.
Lock (Lock): Setting the servo behavior if it does not receive a control signal - Maintains the position corresponding to the last received signal / The motor is free, the servo does not maintain any position.
Boost (Start-up): Motor power when starting from rest. The larger the value, the greater the force with which the motor starts up.Servo tester mode
In servo tester mode, the DSP-2 allows you to test servos of virtually all types thanks to the adjustable repetition rate: analog (only at 50 Hz), digital at 50-333 Hz and narrowband digital at 500-560 Hz.The programmer kit includes: DSP-2 programmer, stylus, JR/JR connection cable, instructions.
