AXI 2212/34 V2 LONG AC motor

The new generation of AXI V2 motors has higher performance thanks to its sophisticated design, which in combination with the integrated cooling system based on the turbine effect of air flow keeps the motor winding up to 20% cooler. The special "Long" version is equipped with an extended conical front face for easy installation in the hulls of gliders with a small bow diameter.

Robust and reliable high-performance AC motors of the AXI 2212 / xx V2 series with a rotating casing and neodymium magnets have a hardened shaft with a diameter of 3.17 mm mounted in two ball bearings, which ensure very good mechanical stability during normal and reverse mounting. The rotors of the AXI 2212 / xx V2 series motors are balanced on a state-of-the-art dynamic balancing device from the renowned Schenck company. The high-quality Japanese bearings supplied to the V2 series motors are characterized by a longer service life and quiet operation.

Thanks to their high torque, the motors of the AXI 2212 / xx V2 series are suitable for direct drive of large propellers without the need to use a gearbox, which ensures very good efficiency of the entire drive.

AXI 2212/26 V2 Long is a small AC motor designed to power small models with a flight weight of up to 800 g and powered by a two-cell or three-cell Li-poly battery. Great for motor gliders.

Engine mounting: AXI 2212/26 V2 Long is primarily designed for front mounting, but after purchasing the appropriate set it can also be used in rear mounting. For front mounting behind the front of the engine, use at least two (opposite) or four M3 bolts that extend into the front of the engine by 4-5 mm.
