If you are used to the high performance and top quality and reliability of OS internal combustion engines, you will surely be pleased that you can now enjoy the same advantages with OS AC motors! They have been developed and engineered to set the “golden standard” for electric propulsion, as is the rule for their methyl or petrol counterparts. 80 years of experience of OS developers ensures that new electric motors offer the same legendary quality and reliability.
The AC brushless motors feature an integrated ventilation system that increases their efficiency and allows them to operate at higher current loads for higher performance. A key feature of this system is a unique centrifugal fan that sucks air through specially shaped air vents, windings and around magnets for significantly better cooling.
The AC brushless motors have a rugged design to reduce the risk of deformation, solid stainless steel shafts housed in high-quality bearings, a rigid and safe rear mounting system with a precision propeller carrier.
Thanks to their high torque, OS engines are suitable for direct propulsion of large propellers without the need for a gearbox, which ensures very good efficiency of the entire drive.
