Old-fashioned and robust
In order to withstand different terrain shapes and surfaces, it is important that the TRITON SP is extremely robust and durable. This Monstertruck is made from the best materials. All suspension and suspension parts are made of special composite material HiCC8. This composite material has been specially developed for Team Corally to ensure the necessary strength and durability of parts.
Team Corally does not rely on plastic drive components. That's why TRITON SP comes standard with steel drive shafts and axles, a gearbox with durable metal gears and a professionally adjustable friction clutch for safe power distribution. The TRITON SP drive is ready for the most powerful AC motors. In short, you do not need expensive tuning parts to ensure the future speed of the missile.
Chassis
TRITON SP has a monococular chassis made of special composite material HiCC8. The design guarantees exceptional durability and torsional rigidity of the chassis. The chassis has been mounted in an elevated position, allowing greater ground clearance. Rough terrain with large bumps is no problem for TRITON SP. The TRITON SP's short wheelbase delivers extreme driving pleasure. With rapid acceleration, the TRITON SP stands bravely on the rear wheels.
Suspension
Good cushioning is very important for driving on rough terrain. TRITON SP is equipped with oversized suspension elements made of special composite material HiCC8. The shock absorbers are of the "Big Bore" type (16mm), with a much larger volume and thus much better damping than the smaller shock absorbers typically used in 1:10 scale. The dampers are threaded for easy and accurate vehicle height adjustment.
Rubber
The TRITON SP comes with Monster Truck tires that easily drive through any terrain made of stone, sand, clay or asphalt. The rubber compound is selected so that good adhesion is guaranteed under all conditions. Tires are stuck to rugged rims made of special composite material HiCC8.
Engine and transmission
TRITON SP is equipped with a powerful electric motor Speed-X 550 with fifteen times winding. This engine offers the perfect balance between power, speed and driving time. TRITON SP is equipped as standard with steel drive shafts and axles, a gearbox with strong wear-resistant metal gears and a professionally adjustable power distribution clutch. The "Heavy Duty" differential is equipped with 4 satellite gears. Bullet Proof TRITON SP is ready for the most powerful brushless motors.
Electronics
TRITON SP is equipped with Varioprop® S2R digital proportional radio controller with seamless 2.4 GHz technology. The range is 300 meters. The radio control has various setting options, such as: double deflection, EPA, trim functions, etc. ........ The receiver is equipped with a special protective layer against moisture and splashing water. The mounted Varioprop® CR-7209 servo is digital and oversized for vehicles of this size. Servos with similar performance and features usually need to be purchased as a tuning or upgrade. The Varioprop® CR-7209 digital servo control is splash-proof, accurate, fast and has a torque of 9 kg / cm. It also has an aluminum body for better cooling, all-metal wheels and ball bearings.
The CORA-40 electronic controller is manufactured by HobbyWing specifically for the Corally team. The CORA-40 speed controller is waterproof and suitable for both NiMH and Lipo batteries. The CORA-40 speed controller is equipped with various safety features such as overload, overheating, undervoltage, etc ....
Body
The Triton SP comes with a polycarbonate body. Polycarbonate is considered to be an extremely strong impact resistant plastic. The body is already sprayed in an attractive blue metallic color, finished with attractive stickers and an effective protective protective strip.
Note: Many RC cars today have a body made of much cheaper PVC material, but they usually break or tear at the first crash.
Prepared
TRITON SP is delivered completely pre-assembled. If you take your Monster Truck out of the box, you don't have to fold anything. Just put a charged battery in the car and the fun can begin.
However, TRITON SP is supplied without battery and charger. Here we let the driver choose a battery for higher speed or longer travel time, a simple charger or a higher quality charger with more options for the future ...
