Combo - regulator with this motor, can be powered up to max. 4S LiPo, only for short rides with low transmission and when monitoring the motor temperature.
Castle Mamba X controller
Electronic controller Castle Mamba X Castle Mamba is a controller designed for RC car models 1:10 or lighter models 1: 8. Power supply can be in the range of 2 to 6 LiPo cells, of course there is a waterproof construction. The controller can be used for both hobby and professional use. A novelty is the possibility of connecting a sensor motor, an additional input for changing the controller settings during the race or when riding from crawlers or expedition models.
The controller allows to record measured data - current consumption, supply voltage, supply voltage ripple, BEC voltage, temperature and speed into memory. After the race or during the test drives, you can view this data on a computer and evaluate it.
The Castle Mamba X controller contains an integrated BEC source capable of supplying current up to 8 A, the voltage can be adjustable in the range of 5.25 to 8.0 V.
Possibilities of using the secondary input AUX2 - white wire
- Gas power limitation - you can limit the maximum engine power. An ideal choice for cases where the RC car is driven by children or less experienced riders.
- Reverse power limitation - You can limit the maximum reverse power.
- Brake power limitation - you can use the transmitter to limit the maximum brake power - an ideal choice for Crawler races
- Neutral Brake Force - Use Transmitter to Limit Neutral Brake Force - Ideal for Crawlers

- Limiting the maximum engine torque - if you need to prevent the wheels from slipping, you can reduce the maximum engine torque at any time during the race. Gain an advantage over your competitors!

Detachable cables to the receiver and sensor of the sensor motors
The cables leading to the receiver and to the sensor are connected to a gold-plated connector. This solution offers the possibility of adapting the cabling for your RC car exactly according to your ideas. If the cables are damaged in an accident, you can easily replace them. Cables to the receiver and sensor can be purchased as spare parts. The connector for connecting the sensor motor is fitted with a blanking plug from the factory. If you decide to use sensor motors, you need to slide the plug out of the connector. Simple and extremely reliable solution!
The spare cable to the receiver has the order number CC-011-0106-00, the cable for connecting the sensors of AC sensor motors to RC cars has the order number CC-011-0108-00.

Construction of AC motors Motor
The advantage of Castle AC motors is especially high efficiency and smooth running from zero speed when using a sensor controller. Sensor motors can therefore be recommended for both fast and slow-moving models, such as crawlers or expedition RC car models.
The stator (fixed outer part of the motor) is composed of mutually insulated iron sheets of thickness. The stator winding is impregnated against moisture and is defined by a special potting compound. The winding terminals are made of solid strips.
The rotor (rotating inner part of the motor) is made of a hardened steel shaft in which neodymium magnets are glued. To increase strength, the rotor is braided with Kevlar fabric and a two-component adhesive. Another set of 4 magnets is used to measure the rotor position. The rotor is defined between the bearings by a ring-shaped leaf spring.
The aluminum fronts have high-quality ball bearings, the rear face is fitted with Hall sensors sensing the rotor position and a temperature sensor for measuring the internal temperature of the engine.
