Castle Mamba X is the fourth controller of the Castle Creations "X" series and logically completes the Mamba XL X for RC 1: 5, Mamba Monster X for 1: 8 and Mamba Micro X for 1:18.
Castle Mamba is a controller designed for RC car models 1:10 or lighter models 1: 8. Power can be in the range of 2 to 6 cells LiPo, of course there is a waterproof construction. The controller can be used for both hobby and professional use. A new feature is the possibility of connecting a sensor motor, an additional input to change the controller settings during the race or when riding from a crawler,
The controller allows to record measured data - current consumption, supply voltage, ripple of supply voltage, voltage BEC, temperature and speed to memory. After the race or during test rides, you can view this data on your computer and evaluate it.
The Castle Mamba X includes an integrated BEC source capable of delivering 8 A of current, and can be set to a range of 5.25 to 8.0 V.
The new X-Series controller from Castle Creations for RC car models
Castle Creations has launched a completely new range of regulators marked with the letter X. This is the XL X controller for RC car models 1: 5, the Mamba Monster X for RC cars 1: 8 and the Mamba Micro for RC cars 1:16 to 1:18 . This new X-series features the following common features:
- Waterproof construction of the controller - electronics is embedded in a special potting compound
- Recovering sensor motor support that is important in the increasingly popular crawlers
- Adjustable BEC voltage - you can fully use both standard and high voltage servos
- New waterproof switch for reliable switching off and on of the controller
- The use of a more powerful microcontroller makes the engine even better, and data logging is newly enabled
- The controller is equipped with a secondary input that allows you to change any of these parameters while driving with the free channel of the transmitter, see below.
- Of course there is the possibility of programming the basic controller parameters using a transmitter or programming card. Complete programming options are available in Castle Link for PC.
- More powerful BEC source for reliable powering of powerful servos in the model
- Controllers can record the most important measured data - voltage waveform, speed and so on. You can then view the measured data from the plant on your computer and evaluate it.

Possibilities of using secondary input AUX2 - white wire
- Gas output limitation - you can limit the maximum engine power. An ideal choice for when an RC car is driven by children or less experienced riders.
- Reverse Power Limit - You can limit the maximum reverse power.
- Brake Performance Reduction - With the transmitter you can limit the maximum braking power - the ideal choice for Crawler races
- Brake Power in Neutral - With the transmitter you can reduce the brake power in neutral - the ideal choice for Crawlers

Removable cables to sensor and sensor motor sensors
The cables leading into the receiver and into the sensor are connected to the gilded connector. This solution offers the possibility to customize the cabling for your RC car exactly to your liking. If the cables are damaged in an accident, you simply replace them. Cables to both the receiver and the sensor can be purchased as a spare part. The sensor motor connector is fitted with a blanking plug. If you choose to use sensor motors, you need to remove the plug from the connector. Simple and most reliable solution!
