    The XDFly HPro series are top-of-the-line programmable microprocessor controllers for brushless, sensorless AC motors, designed using the latest semiconductor technology with excellent performance and extensive programming and adjustment options. They are used to control the speed of AC electric motors in helicopter or aircraft models when powered by LiPo/Li-ion/LiFe batteries. They are designed with high long-term load capacity and durability in mind, as required in competition and high-performance models. For helicopters, they offer an advanced governor function with a number of adjustable constant speed control parameters. They are equipped with a high-performance SBEC switching power regulator with adjustable output voltage, providing power to the receiver and servos from the drive battery. For easy controller setup, use the special Multifunctional LCD programming box XDFly or Bluetooth module enabling cooperation with mobile applications, which are sold separately.

    DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS OF THE CONTROLLER

    • Suitable for the vast majority of aircraft AC motors powered by 6-14S LiPo/Li-ion/LiFe batteries.
    • High-performance microprocessor for precise governor function (maintaining constant speed) and super soft start.
    • Synchronous rectification technology significantly improves throttle response and power stage control efficiency, reduces regulator temperature.
    • Powerful switching power supply stabilizer BEC with an output voltage adjustable in the range of 6-12 V and a load capacity of 10 A continuously/20 A peak.
    • Extensive programming options with a wide range of adjustable functions and parameters.
    • Flight modes: Helicopter (Ext Governor), Helicopter (Store Governor), Airplane.
    • The governor program with adjustable P/I governor parameters provides excellent maintenance of constant speed, guarantees stable main rotor speed even with sudden load changes.
    • The flight data recorder records speed, minimum voltage and maximum temperature during the flight.
    • Independent output port for tachometer signals in helicopter modes, in airplane mode allows engine reversal for effective braking after landing.
    • Special programming socket for programming the controller or setting parameters using the XDFly Multifunction LCD Programming Box or the XDFly Bluetooth® module. The controller supports wireless parameter setting via mobile app, Mikado VBCT/E, Rotorflight2, Jeti transmitters.
    • Telemetry output compatible with Mikado VBCT/E, Rotorflight2, Futaba SBUS2, Jeti, MSH Brain and iKon, allowing users to monitor data in real time.
    • Fan for perfect cooling even under high load.
    • A number of protection functions: abnormal power supply voltage at power-on, start-up control, temperature, loss of throttle signal, overload, low voltage, overcurrent.

    PROGRAMABLE FUNCTIONS

    • Flight mode: Allows you to select programs for airplanes, helicopters (with external governor or completely without governor) or helicopters (with internal Store governor).
    • Voltage protection: The threshold level of voltage protection is adjustable in the range 2.7-3.6 V/cell, protection can also be turned off completely.
    • Timing: Automatic or adjustable in the range of 0-30°.
    • BEC voltage: The SBEC voltage of the power stabilizer is adjustable in the range of 6.0-12.0 V in 0.2 V steps.
    • Motor rotation direction: Clockwise/Counterclockwise.
    • Governor parameter P: Determines the ability of the controller to maintain a stable speed.
    • Governor Parameter I: Determines the dynamic response of the governor.
    • Acceleration: Adjustable values Fast; Normal; Slow; Very Slow.
    • Auto-restart time: Only in ESC Store Governor mode. If you move the throttle control from a position above 30% to any position between 25% and 30% and then back above 30% before the preset auto-restart time has elapsed, the motor will skip the soft start process and start accelerating rapidly to a value corresponding to the current signal in the throttle channel and will restart completely. If the throttle is below 25% or the throttle control has been between 25% and 30% for longer than the preset auto restart time, the auto restart is canceled.
    • Initial power: Adjustable values Low; Medium; High.
    • Brake type: Sets the propeller brake function for aircraft models - normal or reversal (allows you to turn on the engine reversal using an additional channel with a switch).
    • Brake intensity: Adjustable in the range of 0-100% in 1% steps.
    • SR function: The synchronous rectification function allows the controller to operate with higher efficiency at lower consumption, thereby extending the flight time.
    • Capacity correction: If the value of the electric charge taken by the controller does not match the actual charge taken, capacity correction can be used to eliminate this discrepancy.
    • LED color: Select the color of the indicator LED.
    • Fan: Turns the smart fan function on/off for controllers with a fan.
    • Number of motor poles: For calculation engine speed.
    • Number of teeth on the pinion: For calculating the gear ratio and engine speed
    • Number of teeth on the main gear: For calculating the gear ratio and engine speed
