The CLAYMORE V2 is a popular tire among ProCircuit team riders. This tire is an evolution or combination of the Square Impact and Hot Dice. These two patterns are the most commonly used by team riders in competitive events, so ProCircuit decided to combine them and bridge the gap by using the same pin pattern as the Square Impact, but with larger pins similar to the Hot Dice.
The Claymore was the tire used by team riders at the 2016 IFMAR World Championship in Las Vegas, where Robert Batlle took 2nd place.
The V2 has an increased total number of rows and a slightly larger pin size to maintain excellent grip and speed on the most demanding tracks. These two modifications improve the tire's durability.
The Claymore V2 excels on clean tracks, blue tracks or slightly wet surfaces, providing excellent traction and speed.
New S Compound
After extensive development by the ProCircuit technical department in collaboration with the team's riders, the new S compound was created. It is more stable, more versatile and better suited to all conditions and different levels of track grip. It provides a wide range of uses, offering excellent grip in soft compounds for slippery tracks and great comfort and traction in hard compounds for high-grip tracks.
This new S compound is highly temperature stable, allowing it to function effectively regardless of the ambient temperature. This allows us to base compound selection solely on the current track grip, which greatly simplifies the process of selecting the appropriate hardness.
It also offers greater durability and improves the overall riding experience.
S compounds are available in the following variants:
- S1 (Supersoft, double white dot)
- S2 (Soft, double yellow dot)
- S3 (Medium, double orange dot)
- S4 (Hard, double blue dot)
