The CPS-1 is an intelligent RC LED light switch that allows you to turn on and off very high-brightness LEDs or several LEDs (of the same type) connected in parallel up to a total current consumption of 200 mA. It is perfectly suited for controlling position lights on flying models and ships, landing lights, spotlights and especially all kinds of lights on model cars and other ground equipment.
Basic use with RC kits (not just Futaba)
The CPS-1 connects to the channel of the RC set, which is assigned a two-position switch on the transmitter to turn on/off the LED light. The CPS-1 is powered by the receiver, it can be used at a voltage corresponding to a 4-5 cell NiMH battery (4.8-6.0 V).
Use with Futaba RC sets with CPS mix
You can fully use the CPS-1 with Futaba RC kits equipped with a CPS mixer, which allows you to select the lighting mode off/on or flashing with adjustable frequency and easily assign a switch for manual on/off or the state of the model's controlled functions when the lights turn on:
