The LiPo battery tester 1-8S is a multifunctional device for testing the battery life of most major model types: Li-Po, Li-ion, LiFe, LiHV, NiCd and NiMH. It also allows discharging with balancing and autonomous balancing of lithium sets to balance the voltages of individual cells to the same level. In servo mode, it can be used to test servos and electronic speed controllers.
LITHIUM BATTERY VOLTAGE TESTING (1-8S)
The device allows the measurement of 2-8S lithium batteries (Li-Po, Li-ion, LiFe, LiHV) without the need for additional power supply. To test 1S of batteries, you need to connect 4s. NiXX battery or 5 V UBEC stabilizer output to the NiCd / MH socket. The test battery is directly connected (JST-XH service connectors) or a suitable adapter.
The tester measures and displays:
- total battery voltage and residual battery capacity (charge status - landmark)
- voltage and residual capacity of each set cells
- voltage and capacitance of the highest voltage cell item
- voltage and cell capacity of the lowest voltage set
- cell numbers with the highest and lowest voltages and the voltage difference between them
TESTING OF VOLTAGE OF NiCd AND NiMH BATTERIES (1-8 item)
When testing 4-8. NiCd and NiMH batteries do not need an additional power supply. To test NiCd and NiMH batteries with less than 4 cells, you need to connect a 2-8S lithium battery.
The tester measures and displays:
- total battery voltage
RETURN / BALANCER (2-8S)
Discharging / balancing lithium accumulators can take place in two modes (the device is powered by a discharged battery):
- Discharging with balancing - the tester discharges the connected lithium battery to a preset voltage (2.0-4.2 V / cell) while balancing the voltage of the individual cells
- Autonomous Balancing - The device discharges the cells of the set to the lowest voltage level
SERVOTESTER
The supply voltage for servo-servo function is 5-6 V (4-cell NiMH or NiCd battery," UBEC output of 5 V power stabilizer). In the case of testing electronic speed controllers with a BEC stabilizer, no special power supply is required. Servotester generates control pulses with logic level "1" 4.7-7.0 V (according to the supply voltage 5-6 V). Depending on the type of servo or regulator, you can select the servo frequency signal repetition frequency: 50Hz (for analog servos and standard regulators for aircraft, cars and ships) and for digital servos and controllers for multipopes 60 Hz, 100 Hz, 125 Hz, 200 Hz, 300 Hz .
Servotester has three basic operating modes:
- Manual positioning of the servo by the rotary knob - The range of control pulse widths in this mode is optional for the base 1000-2000 _s or the extended 500-2 500 _s.
- Automatic servo overrun - In this mode, the servo automatically switches over to the set range (basic 1000-2000 _s or 500-2500 magnified) manually adjustable speed.
- Neutral setting: - In this case, the servotester provides a signal with a fixed pulse width of 1500 _s.
Package includes: LiPo battery tester 1-8S, instructions.
