RC model mini car Axial SCX24 Deadbolt in 1:24 scale with all-wheel drive 4WD is suitable not only for beginners. It can climb rocks, handle difficult climbs, SCX24 chassis is equipped with three-point front and four-point rear suspension. Realism underlines the bodywork with the driver. It is fully equipped with RC kit, battery and charger.
The SCX24 ™ Deadbolt ™ 4WD is the first 1:24 scale Axial® Offroad car. It is completely assembled and equipped with electronics, drive and charger, and also includes transmitter batteries. Just charge the battery and you're ready to go. Like the big brother SCX10 ™ II 1:10, this reduced version uses a range of steel components - from the C-shaped frame rails to the front and rear axle shafts and output shafts. Equipped with 3-point front and 4-point rear suspension, rigid axles and worm gear, the SCX24 gives the model incredible power to climb steep gradients.
The SCX24 Deadbolt set includes a Dynamite® 88T DC motor, a 350mAh 2S 7.4V LiPol battery and a USB LiPol charger. Axial AE-6 combo receiver / controller and Axial AS-1 servo control are installed. The car has licensed KMC XD229 Machete Crawl disks with Nitto Trail Grappler tires.
Just like the 1:10 scale SCX10 ™ II chassis platform, the SCX24 ™ chassis has robust C-frame steel frame rails for high rigidity.
The Dynamite 88T has optimum performance that transmits high torque to the wheels thanks to the gears. It is mounted on a steel engine bracket that prevents deformation and helps protect gears.
The front and rear differentials are fitted with a worm gear to ensure maximum power transmission to the axles while ensuring a constant brake when the car is stopped. Small dimensions allow for greater ground clearance.
The high torque of the worm gear requires the use of steel drive shafts. Only those can transmit power to the wheels even on difficult climbs.
The front and rear drive shafts from the central gearbox to the differentials are 2-spline grooved and allow maximum axial displacement of the shafts while maintaining transmitted power.
Although this is a small model, even on this scale, shock absorbers have an irreplaceable role in shock absorption while driving. For greater reality, they are mock-up made with simulated reservoirs.
The front and rear rigid axles consist of a two-piece molded plastic in which the drive shafts are mounted in ball bearings.
Included are two LED lights mounted in the front bumper. The extra LED light connector on the control unit allows you to add additional optional LED lights.
The geometry of the suspension uses a 4-point design for the rear of the car, optimized for maximum twisting of the axle while driving while maintaining torque.
The officially licensed KMC XD Machete drives are legendary in the terrain world. They are molded in black and have stunning details, despite the small scale. Officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler M / T tires offer an excellent combination of off-road performance while retaining excellent road-driving characteristics.
Thanks to the body mounting on the pivot, easy access to the onboard components. You can quickly replace or recharge the battery and chassis by removing only two staples and tilting the body up.
Even though it is a small model, it is equipped just like a large car ball bearing. No plain bearings, only ball bearings. If you drive in a damp environment, do not forget maintenance and lubrication!
Directly above the front axle is the Axial AS-1 steering servo with servosaver for precise steering, while providing servo gear and electronics protection in the event of blockage or impact.
