Characteristics

A set of Big Bore Scaler shock absorbers, designed specifically for Axial® SCX24™ RC models. Take your SCX24™ to the next level of performance in Pro-Line style! The dampers are made of CNC machined aluminum. For easy spring preload adjustment, the body of the shock absorber is threaded with a nut. 5mm bore for more oil allows for better damper function. Impact-resistant steel piston rods. Double O-rings on the piston rod eliminate leaks and ensure smooth, low-friction operation.

Big Bore mufflers come pre-assembled in a set of 4 including all mounting hardware. All you have to do is unscrew the upper shock head and add oil to the shocks (20wt recommended). Replace the cap and squeeze the damper 3-4 times to fully lubricate the damper shaft. Now you are ready to start your next little adventure!

The Big Bore Scaler kit includes two sets of springs - standard and an optional stiffer one. The optional stiffer springs (marked in red) are ideal for heavier ABS bodies like the Axial SCX24™ Bronco.
