PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS

CONTROL PROTECTION FUNCTIONS
- Acceleration protection: The controller measures the engine speed during start-up." If the speed stops or the gain is not stable, the controller will evaluate it as an incorrect start. If the gas is less than 15% at this time, the regulator will automatically attempt to restart the engine; If the gas is more than 15%, you need to pull the gas switch down completely to re-start the engine.
- Thermal protection of the controller: If the temperature of the controller exceeds 110 ° C, the controller will progressively limit power but does not shut off the engine completely. To ensure that the engine retains some power and will not cause a crash, the maximum power limitation is about 50% of full power. As the temperature of the controller goes down, the controller will gradually restore maximum power. Additionally, when switching on, the temperature of the controller must not exceed 70 ° C, otherwise the motor can not be switched on.
- Thermal protection of capacitors: The controller activates this protection if the temperature of the filter capacitors exceeds 130 ° C. This protects the filter capacitors just as the controller's thermal protection protects itself.
- Loss of gas signal: The controller shuts down the engine if the signal is missing for 0.25 seconds to avoid even more damage and risks from a rotating rotor or propeller. Once a normal signal is received, the controller resumes normal operation.
- Overload protection: The controller shuts off the engine or automatically restarts when the load suddenly increases to a very high value. (Possible cause: blocking the propeller or rotor.)
Tip: At first switch on the controller first calibrate the gas range according to the instructions. It is then possible to use the controller and set other parameters using the Multifunction LCD Programming Box or Wi-Fi Express.
