The Traxxas Maxx RC model takes the best from its bigger brother, the X-Maxx, but comes in a smaller, compact 1:8 scale. The chassis design has been retained and is characterized by unparalleled strength. In this top Ultimate version , the model is also equipped with the most desirable tuning parts made of anodized aluminum, steel half-axles, aluminum shock absorbers with titanium piston rods, a more powerful steering servo and an installed Bluetooth module that connects the model to the application on a mobile device and allows you to set up the model and display telemetry, such as speed, rpm, battery voltage and more. The new Maxx is not afraid of any terrain and overcomes it at a speed of 96 km/h. Extreme power and acceleration are provided by the 540XL brushless motor and the VXL-4S controller. The Traxxas TQi 2.4 GHz RC kit with TSM electronic ride stabilization ensures precise and safe driving even at high speeds.

The new Maxx is designed for endless all-day fun. It features an ultra-tough composite chassis construction with integrated shock towers and a durable battery mounting system. The chassis and bumper mounts effectively absorb energy through interconnected chassis bulkheads.
The modular design connects the front and rear chassis with the center chassis, forming one solid platform. This advanced solution ideally distributes impact energy while allowing for easy servicing of the model.
The unique design takes a revolutionary approach to protecting the driveshaft and differentials, integrating them securely inside the model's chassis. The robust, lower protective plates absorb the hard impacts that are sure to occur. Once the protective plates have done their job, you can replace them and your Maxx will be as good as new again.
WideMaxx suspension arms extend the track by 40mm, giving the model extra stability during extreme cornering. The extended arms are made of a durable, cold-weather compound. High-strength aluminum rods provide precise steering, durability and a stunning look.
The Maxx RC model uses an improved motor mount with two guide grooves that fix the motor securely in place. Using the holes, you can easily and precisely adjust the inter-tooth clearance of the pinion and spur gear. In addition, the motor mount is made of aluminum.
Four extra-large GT-Maxx oil-filled shock absorbers effectively absorb even the hardest impacts. The aluminum shock bodies are threaded and nut-loaded for easy spring preload adjustment. The shocks are equipped with double X-rings to prevent oil leakage around the piston rod. The Ultimate version also features aluminum shock heads and piston rods coated with titanium nitride, which adds extra hardness and smoothness.
The Bellcrank steering system ensures fast and precise steering response. A cam servosaver is located at the top of the column and protects the steering and servo from impacts.
The rear Wheelie Bars are essential on a model with the power of the Maxx. They help prevent accidental rollovers when you apply full throttle and allow for a spectacular rear wheelie. The wheels are aluminum with an outer rubber compound and mounted on ball bearings.
The battery is housed deep in the chassis for a low center of gravity and maximum protection. A latch system ensures easy and quick battery installation and removal.
The model uses a number of patented solutions that reduce the risk of water ingress to the electronics, such as a sealed servo box and epoxy-encapsulated controller electronics. This gives you the freedom to go for a ride regardless of the weather.
This exclusive, patented Traxxas feature was originally implemented in the X-Maxx and is now available in the Maxx. The self-righting feature is activated remotely via the transmitter, and by applying the throttle and braking forcefully, the model gradually swings and turns back onto its wheels.

The innovative Cush drive system uses a special part equipped with elastomer silent blocks to absorb engine shock. The system replaces the friction clutch and allows for a more efficient and reliable drive without complex adjustments.
To distribute the power of the 4x4 drive, the model is equipped with front, center and rear differentials with metal gears. For precise tuning of the performance, the differentials can be tuned with special oils of different viscosities.

The Traxxas Maxx remote control car model features an innovative body attachment system that replaces traditional clips with a snap-on system. This solution allows for easy and quick body attachment and no more lost clips.
The body is equipped with a frame on the inside, which serves as reinforcement in case the model overturns. For even greater durability, wide washers are newly placed under the screw heads, the roof of the model is equipped with a frame against scratching the body, as is the rear part.
The unique look of the model is given by the black chrome 2.8" wheels mounted on a 17 mm grooved carrier. The glued tires feature an extreme open block tread pattern. The highly durable rubber compound is specially designed to resist tearing.
The steering is realized by means of a robust, digital servo Traxxas - TRA2085R. The maxi-size servo has a torque of 46 kg.cm, a speed of 0.13 s/60°. Metal gears. The Traxxas Link App is a powerful app that gives you complete control over the operation and tuning of your Traxxas RC model with stunning visualization and absolute precision settings. Traxxas Link can display telemetry data that the model provides in real time, such as speed, RPM, temperature, battery voltage and tilt of the model. (The telemetry provided varies by specific model type). You can share RC model settings, you can create any number of profiles for a specific track or user, such as children. All in an app with brilliant graphics, which is a given from Traxxas.

RC receiver Traxxas TQi 5-channel TSM with telemetry for Traxxas TQi transmitters. Easy to use, pairing with a button. Status indication by LED. The receiver has integrated 3-axis MEMS sensors for learning the receiver's position.
The 5-channel receiver is also equipped with two connectors for connecting RPM (speed) and V/T (voltage/temperature) telemetry sensors.

Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) not only allows you to experience power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speeds, but also ensures much easier steering and control on slippery surfaces such as dust, smooth concrete or even ice and snow.
The receiver contains a MEMS 3-axis gyro and an accelerometer, which evaluates the movement of the model 100 times per second and corrects the direction of the model by appropriate interventions in the steering of the front wheels. Traxxas TSM does not limit the engine power - you have 100% control over the engine power. The algorithms are tuned for each model separately. The level of assistance is set using the multi-function controller on the transmitter or in the Traxxas Link application.

To operate the model, you need 4x AA batteries for the transmitter, a drive battery and a charger for the drive battery.
The model can be operated with a 3 or 4 cell LiPo battery. For normal driving, a 3 cell LiPo battery (11.1 V) is fully sufficient.
Traxxas universal chargers can charge Traxxas LiPo and NiMH batteries. Traxxas chargers are a simple and safe way to charge batteries. Traxxas uses the unique iD system , so you can always be sure that everything is connected easily and safely. There is an integrated chip in the battery connector that the Traxxas charger automatically recognizes and sets all battery charging parameters for you. More information here.

The complete LED lighting kit will make your model a real gem. The lighting includes a front LED bumper bar, a rear multi-function brake bar, a power module and mounting accessories.

For normal operation of your Traxxas RC car, you need screw glue, quality tire glue, silicone shock absorber oil and a set of screwdrivers. We recommend an affordable car tool set from our range.
Screw glue is applied to the thread or head of the screw, which fixes it and prevents the vibrations caused by driving from loosening the screw connection. Screw glue has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an appropriate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary superglue, a screw glued in this way may be impossible to loosen at all!
Tire glue is used to glue tires to the rim of the wheel. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not glued around the entire circumference, it may burst. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon and at the same time the glue is flexible after hardening. Never use ordinary superglue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks would gradually form in the tire around the rims!
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers. During normal operation, only slight silicone oil leaks occur along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leak can be large. So-called repair kits are available for these cases. The tuning parts offer includes piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating for all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN coating can be easily recognized by their golden-green color.
