The German heavy tank "Tiger" has been produced for only two years - from August 1942 to August 1944 - but it is still an indispensable part of the story of the Second World War. Its almost impenetrable front armor, combined with its excellent focusing and powerful 88-mm long KwK 36 cannon, made it largely unbeatable in long-range combat as enemy tanks were not even able to burn at that distance at all.
