The RC model glider Scirocco S 3.75m ARF is a high-performance model of the F5J category. Modern GRP / CFRP shell construction with high strength and low weight. Elegant finished color, it flies great in thermals, on slopes and acrobatics.
Scirocco is a high-performance RC model of the F5J glider of modern composite construction with a span of 3.7 m with a laminate fuselage and a composite wing with a HN-354 profile. Suitable for flying in thermals, on a slope or for competition flying. Clean aerodynamic shapes, finished coloring. ARF version without electronics, drive, servos, cables, etc.
The fuselage is laminate, reinforced with carbon reinforcements, the wing is 4-flap with flaps and ailerons. The elevator is floating, two-part, the wing is divided into 3 parts. The ARF version is intended for those who prefer their own equipment, the set does not include drive or electronics.

The design of the Scirocco ARF kit does not include electronics or motor, so it is necessary to add your own equipment. There is enough space in the fuselage for the assembly of the drive, the propeller cone is recommended with a diameter of 45 mm.
Floating elevator
The floating elevator slides onto the carbon tube. The rudder has a rudder lever inside the fuselage, so the tail surfaces are completely aerodynamically clean.

The Scirocco model is delivered as an ARF kit without equipment. It is therefore necessary to install a motor, a cone propeller, a controller, a receiver, servos, a battery, cables with connectors and have a transmitter and charger available in the model.

Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a case for storing LiPol batteries. From our range we recommend a quality set of Allen screwdrivers 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0mm and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). The Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) and a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 washer will certainly be suitable for assembly.
For quick repair of aircraft models, we recommend the fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy adhesive. From our offer we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g
Protective covers for batteries
Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is prone to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
