The Traxxas Nitro Revo 3.3 is already a 14-time winner of RC Car Action magazine! The Nitro Revo is equipped with a powerful TRX 3.3 racing engine with a tuned exhaust, a rigid chassis made of 4 mm thick 6061-T6 blue anodized aluminum. Giant tires with a diameter of 160 mm provide maximum grip on the terrain. The car has a high ground clearance, thanks to which it can easily drive over even the biggest bumps. Great handling on the track thanks to the 4WD drive and a large wheelbase. It reaches speeds of up to 72 km/h!
What makes this Monster stand out is the unique 3D shaped aluminum chassis structure , which forms a beam in cross section. Therefore, rigidity, strength and low weight are maintained. The incredible swing angle of the axle arms is only possible thanks to the advanced setting of the Revo axle geometry and the longitudinal mounting of the shock absorbers on the chassis. The shock absorbers are thus protected from impacts and damage. The car does not have any problems even with difficult terrain at high speed and handles them brilliantly.
Thanks to two servos, the wheel steering is incredibly powerful and precise. Traxxas 2075 digital servos with ball bearings and a waterproof housing for maximum accuracy and reliability. The servos are powered by a 6 V 1200 mAh NiMH battery.
Only Traxxas offers a revolutionary, no-compromise reverse transmission with smooth, responsive shifting. The secret is the OptiDrive microprocessor-based electronic module that senses vehicle speed and optimizes reverse shifting. The electronic control also prevents accidental reverse or forward shifts when the Nitro Revo is traveling at higher speeds.
The TRX 3.3 racing engine is installed on an aluminum high-strength chassis, the engine is started using the EZ-Start system, which is an integrated electric motor with gearbox and glow electronics and an external battery with a starter button. The Traxxas Link App is a powerful app that gives you complete control over the operation and tuning of your Traxxas RC model with stunning visualization and absolute precision of settings. Traxxas Link displays real-time telemetry data, measuring speed, RPM, temperature and battery voltage. You can share RC model settings, you can create any number of profiles for a specific track or user, e.g. children. All in an app with brilliant graphics, which is a given from Traxxas.
The Traxxas Nitor combustion engine can be run on fuel with a nitromethane content of 10% to 33% after running in. For normal driving, we recommend fuel with a nitromethane content of 15%, which means easier engine adjustment and less engine wear. However, it is always necessary to apply engine preservation oil to the engine after the end of the day's driving (so-called after run oil), which will protect the metal parts of the engine from corrosion caused by nitromethane residues, and to regularly apply oil to the air filter.

For normal operation of your Traxxas RC car, you need screw glue, quality tire glue, silicone shock absorber oil and a set of screwdrivers. We recommend an affordable car tool set from our range.
Screw glue is applied to the thread or head of the screw, which fixes it and prevents the vibrations caused by driving from loosening the screw connection. Screw glue has a special composition that allows the screw connection to be easily loosened with an appropriate torque without damaging the screw head. Never use ordinary superglue, a screw glued in this way may be impossible to loosen at all!
Tire glue is used to glue tires to the rim of the wheel. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not glued around the entire circumference, it may burst. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon and at the same time the glue is flexible after hardening. Never use ordinary superglue - it is not flexible after hardening and cracks would gradually form in the tire around the rims!
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers. During normal operation, only slight silicone oil leaks occur along the shock absorber piston rods. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leak can be large. So-called repair kits are available for these cases. The tuning parts offer includes piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating for all shock absorbers. Piston rods with a TiN coating can be easily recognized by their golden-green color.
