Monster Truck Traxxas T-Maxx 2.5 Nitro 4WD is the ultimate tool to win. It features a powerful TRX 2.5 engine with tuned exhaust, a rigid chassis of 3.2 mm thick 6061-T6 blue anodized aluminum. The TRX 2.5 racing engine is installed on an aluminum chassis, while the larger air filter capacity allows longer driving without the need for service. Resonator Maxx dual-chamber tuned exhaust increases maximum speed by more than 10%.
The engine is started with the EZ-Start system, which is an integrated electric motor with gearbox and glowing electronics and an external battery with starter button. Simple and great functional.

T-Maxx 2.5 Nitro has a gearbox with reverse gear installed, which is controlled by a separate servo. The gearbox has a centrifugal clutch installed on the output shaft gearwheel, which only engages at higher engine speeds;
The Traxxas TRX 2.5 combustion engine can be run on fuel with a nitromethane content of 10% to 33% after running-in. For normal riding, we recommend fuel with a content of 16% - 20% nitromethane according to the nature of the track surface and the race. A lower percentage of nitromethane is suitable for races with an on-road character; for off-road races a higher nitromethane fuel is better. The lower percentage of nitromethane also means easier engine adjustment and less engine wear. However, it is always necessary to apply engine preservation oil to the engine after the daily ride, eg JETS (O / N JAR), to protect the metal parts of the engine from corrosion caused by nitromethane residues and regularly apply oil to the air filter, eg from JETS (O / N JF1).
