Protoform clear body P47-N X: 200mm TC light for RC car models 1:10, wheelbase 258mm, length 434mm, width 203mm. Made of durable lexan, mounting accessories.

The P47 comes with brand new aerodynamic concepts and some design elements that we have not seen in this class before. The P47 has been thoroughly tested by our team to find a body that offers more precise and smoother steering, higher cornering and acceleration speeds and maximum speed on long straights. The raised portion of the left side window can be cut to draw air into the body for additional engine cooling, and a large, high-pressure, low-resistance sash completes the design. In 2018, the P47 peaked in the 1:10 Nitro sedan race and was used by Naoto Matsukura to capture the IFMAR 1:10 IC Track World Championships in Homestead, Florida.

Sold as a clear and unpainted body. The picture of the painted body is only for displaying details. There is no vehicle chassis in this product.

To finish, you need to paint the body. Lexan bodies are always delivered as a semi-finished product intended for cutting and painting. First of all, the body needs to be nicely cut out, and the curved lexan scissors will help you to make the wheel holes as round as possible. For flat surfaces, we also offer straight scissors for lexan. When choosing colors for the polycarbonate body, care must be taken to buy a really lexan spray, eg H-SPEED lexan spray 150ml white, which has a special composition so that it is etched into the body, the colors are then flexible and resistant to peeling and cracking even in the event of the greatest impact. Before painting, the body must be thoroughly degreased, most manufacturers recommend washing the body with spring water. After degreasing, use masking tape from the inside of the body, eg 24mm masking tape to create the design of your choice, or stick the masking stickers supplied by the manufacturer on windows and lights. It is important to know that lexan bodies are painted from the inside, so that the body becomes abrasion resistant. Varnishing should preferably take place in rooms with room temperature. We apply individual colors in at least three layers, it is important to apply the color from a sufficient distance, at least 15-20 cm .
