Development on the original X series continues! The 1/10 touring car market has changed with some new and innovative designs - we've been hard at work on our latest and best touring car yet. Introducing the X20 '24! New and improved suspension geometry to give you maximum spin in corners! It features a newly engineered aluminum rear differential and a newly designed rear suspension upper arm setup that provides increased adjustability. New mounting of shock absorbers, which cooperates with 13 mm shock absorbers. Also, the new split top plate style is adjustable like never before. The Serpent X20 '24 is more adjustable, more refined and built for more performance!
DRIVE SHAFTS:
We've tuned the dual ball bearing drive shafts to increase their durability, maintain a silky smooth quiet system, and at the same time make them sufficiently strong.
The new rear system uses a unique design for maximum performance and longevity. The new shafts feature another custom hex adapter design - an ultra-light wobble-free system that ensures your wheels are always centered.
CHASSIS:
In keeping with the X20's tradition, the symmetrical chassis allows for even flex, while the new and revolutionary adjustable flex "bridge" allows quick and easy adjustment of front and rear torsional stiffness, giving you the ability to fine-tune to the conditions.
TOP DECK:
Optional modification for the '23 model. The '24 model now has a split top plate as a standard item - team riders agree that this system is the best combination with our updated chassis.
LCG BATTERY ATTACHMENT:
Keeping the '23 design for battery mounting was no problem - however we modified it a bit to accommodate the newer generation LCG Lipo batteries.
SHOCK ABSORBER TOWERS:
We have modernized the shock absorber mounting system. Thanks to even more precise tuning of the damper angles, we have also added the option of adjusting the flex via the baffles.
SERVO BRACKET:
New servo mount and receiver for X20 '24 - integration of both allows more even camber while keeping as many "floating" parts as possible.
UPPER ARM ATTACHMENT:
You talked, we listened. We've perfected the easy adjustment system and replaced the plastic insert with a threaded aluminum type, so you no longer have to screw in screws from the bottom.
ENGINE MOUNTING:
With the suspension geometry changes made, engine mounting changes were made to make the belt system more efficient and mounted on the same pulley. Double ball bearing tensioning system eliminates the possibility of belt skipping.
REAR DIFFERENTIAL:
Engineering at its best! Our all-new aluminum gear differential ensures absolute efficiency and smooth running thanks to its ball bearings.
SHOULDER DESIGN:
All-new designed arms with fully adjustable flex with different inserts.
SHOULDER ATTACHMENT:
Suspension Method: We've moved away from pivot style suspension and developed a new arm mounting system that allows for a new concept oto
ball and increased adjustability for increased roll and yaw.
SHOCK ABSORBERS:
New 13mm large-bore Progressive silencer with hard coating.
Part of the standard equipment are machined damper pistons that ensure maximum smoothness and durability.
