The American sports wing, manufactured since 1949, has been upgraded to the legendary pre-war J-3 model. At first glance, it was distinguished by the engine (up to twice the power version) carefully crammed under the new engine cover and buoyancy flaps. During the 40 years of production, over 9,000 Super Cubes have been built, a significant part of which is still flying today.

Our new Pipera - for a change in elegant gray and white color - you will surely miss the almost indestructible foam EPO in the sky thanks to the 1700 mm range. Large dimensions, attractive appearance, pleasant flight characteristics, wheeled chassis and float set - just an ideal recreational model for any advanced pilot ...

The fuselage EPO model fuselage is supplied with a C3541-750 rotary casing motor mounted, with a 45A AC adapter and rudder and elevator servos. At the top of the bow, the battery compartment is easily accessible thanks to a removable cover. For Pipera, you will need LiPo four-cell batteries 2200-2600 mAh with a 35C load.

The tailgate of the EPO is fastened to the fuselage by means of screws. The rudder and elevators are stored on the sides of the tail of the torso.

The wing is also made of foamed EPO with modified profile Clark-Y is two-part, coupled by a tubular carbon clutch. To the hull, both halves are fastened to the front and rear by 2 screws. Ailerons and flaps are operated by two servos mounted in the wing with short straight wire rods.

Two-wheeled chassis with controlled spur is wired, with cover covers and springs spring-loaded. Ailerons, flaps, rudder (coupled spur), elevator and engine speed are controlled. Wheels are a giant balloon, ideal for flying in tundra and other wilderness.

Floats are made of foam EPO with wire struts; the left float is provided with a water helm that controls the special servo mounted inside. When taxiing, taking off and landing on the water, you really appreciate it!

To control the model, you need at least a five-channel, but preferably at least seven-channel, RC set that allows independent control and adjustment of aileron and flap servos. In that case, you can set a differentiation of aileron deflections; we recommend 10-20% for the beginning - ie, the aileron deflection is somewhat smaller compared to the upward displacement. In this way, it will be easier to control the model, which will have less tendency to bounce off the turn. A similar effect can be achieved by using aileron-rudder mix, you can combine both - with the aileron-rudder mix you "grab" the initial gradient, the differentiation improves your own curve crossing.

Super Cub is designed for more advanced modellers. The model, as a semi-cluster of the sports van, will familiarize you with some of the features that are typical of similar machines - you will be required to properly coordinate the model with a rudder, aileron and elevator. This experience "as you find" at the latest after you start flying with your first acrobatic model or a larger (semi) machete of any kind. Nice to get used to being on the transmitter not for decoration, but for the right way and at the right time. It's cruel for us, but you'll be grateful later. Its domain is, of course, a smooth flyer, which will give you and your colleagues at the airport plenty of time to enjoy the legendary "Piper's" shapes, but after a small "kick-off", it reliably manages the looping, twisting turns and the curve. Just a sports hovercraft as it should be!

The ARF set includes: a finished model with an alternating motor, a two-blade propeller, a speed controller and six servos, a set of wheel chassis, a set of floats with struts, a set of small accessories and instructions.
