Splendor

As the leader of a merchant guild, mine mines, send your ships out into the world, and hire the most talented artists. Build a trading empire and win over nobles whose favor and unlimited financial resources will bring you fame.

During the game, players earn gems and gold tokens. With these tokens, they buy development cards, which earn them prestige points and other bonuses. The bonuses then allow players to acquire additional development cards at a lower cost. Once a player has collected enough bonuses, they are immediately rewarded with a visit from a nobleman (which again earns prestige points). Once a player has earned 15 prestige points, the current round ends and the player with the most prestige points is declared the winner of the game.
