Between the lines

As employees of the Ministry of Books, you have been entrusted with the mission of discovering the world of words and books.
You must bring back the precious "Hidden Message" that is hidden in the heart of the language jungle, in the mysterious "Lost Cities".
Places full of unique experiences and adventures await your journey!

Between the lines is a team game in which you and other players go on a quest to any book in your library!
At the beginning of the game, place the Camp tab somewhere in the book. This will be your starting point. A few tens of pages later, insert another tab - The Lost City, which will be the goal of your expedition.
In each round, one of the players goes "into the book" and takes on the role of Guide. First, he reads a short excerpt from the book to himself, and then marks it with one of the illustrated bookmarks.
He then reads the same passage aloud to the other players.
This group of players must pay close attention to the form and especially the meaning of the text to try to discover which illustrated bookmark the guide has chosen. If they succeed, they move the Camp tab in the book towards the Lost City.
If they fail, they leave the bookmark in place and lose letters or tasks.
To win, you must get your Camp to the Lost City and successfully explore it.
