Pro Boat has achieved some exciting firsts with this super large deep-V RTR ready-to-run boat. It is the first boat of its size in RC history to have an automatic reverse turn when capsized. It is also the first Pro Boat model to upgrade its Super Sonicwake 48” has a Spektrum 8S AC power system installed, capable of reaching speeds of 80km/h. Independent motor and controller water cooling systems keep your hard-working electronics at safe operating temperatures. Depending on which recommended LiPol battery you use, you can maximize speed or extend your run time. The innovative Pro Boat SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) battery installation system allows you to change your battery pack in seconds.

Despite its impressive size, the Super Sonicwake 48” is comfortable to operate and easy to maintain. The thick ABS hull withstands big jumps and waves on the surface. If the breakaway rudder hits a rock or other hard object, it rotates up to minimize damage to the hull or rudder. The hull cover attaches with quick latches that turn 1/4 turn, making it quick and easy to remove the cover without the tedious assembly of screws.

Thanks to its speed and size, the Super Sonicwake 48” is best suited for large lakes, dams, etc. Safe and comfortable riding from the water's edge is worry-free. If the ship capsizes, it turns itself back around. The battery level indicator on the Spektrum DX3 transmitter lets you know when you should return to shore. SPECTRUM 8S drive

Drive your Super Sonicwake 48” across the water at speeds of up to 80 km/h, leaving everyone else far behind! The Spektrum High Performance AC Drive System includes a Firma 160A Smart AC Controller and a 4685 950 Kv 4-Pole AC Marine Motor. Just add the recommended LiPol batteries of your choice to adjust the speed or run time yourself.

SSL battery mounting system

The easy-to-use SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) system allows you to mount the batteries in the compartment conveniently outside the boat, then simply slide the compartment into the hull where it snaps into place. Installing the battery only takes seconds! For Boat, you offer another set of larger reservoirs that can fit batteries with a capacity of up to 10,000mAh.

Dual water cooling

To keep the hard-working electronics inside your Super Sonicwake 48” from overheating, Pro Boat uses a dual water-sensing rudder that sends cold water around the motor and governor via two independent water cooling systems.

One of the quickest ways to end an afternoon of RC boat fun is to accidentally bump the rudder into something hidden in the water. The Super Sonicwake 48” eliminates these worries with its breakaway rudder design. The rudder simply rotates up if it hits a solid object, minimizing the possibility of damage to the hull or its components.

As the Super Sonicwake 48” cruises across the lake at dusk, the super bright underwater LEDs located on the transom of the hull illuminate the wake behind the boat with a bright glow. The included lighting system is another first for a Pro Boat!

Waterproof receiver box

The metal receiver pins are particularly susceptible to damage if water enters the hull. The Super Sonicwake 48” has an improved waterproof receiver case that keeps your most important electronic equipment safe. The receiver remains dry for a long time for trouble-free RC control.

Quick securing of the hull cover

The Super Sonicwake 48” is equipped with quick release hulls, it has quick 1/4 turn latches that allow you to put on and take off the cover as quickly as possible without having to worry about removing screws. Sealing on the inner and outer surfaces minimizes the possibility of water entering the boat.

Excess grease trap

There's nothing worse than having too little grease on your flex shaft - but so is excess grease making a mess inside your boat's hull. The Super Sonicwake 48” has a grease trap that confines excess to a small area for removal. You can easily keep the interior of your boat clean and fresh.

Floating shaft bushing

The completely free-floating shaft bushing allows you to lubricate the prop using just the hole on the shaft. Simply remove the blind screw. Lubricant flows through the prop strut and tube packing, while the holes in the housing keep the lube exactly where it needs to be.
