    The Traxxas Blast RTR brings speed, fun and Traxxas quality to the water that you wouldn't expect from this affordable boat. The Blast speedboat is powered by a water-cooled DC motor and a waterproof regulator with radiator. It is fully assembled and ready to ride. The proven Traxxas TQ RC kit with a 3-channel receiver, which is stored in a waterproof box, is used for control. New in the package is a modern USB-C charger for convenient charging of the included battery.

    Hull

    Blast is always ready to fight the waves. Its stable 24" Deep-V hull cuts through the water like a knife with great hydrodynamics. It features ample drive and pitch adjustment options with a propeller. Built-in foam floating padding is built into the hull to protect the model from sinking in the event of an accident. Overall Appearance design graphic decals complete the hull.

    Outdrive control

    An Outdrive type turning system is used to control the boat, which guarantees high maneuverability and quick turning reactions. This is given by the turning propeller, which is connected by a cardan joint to the ship's shaft. The ship's propeller thus fulfills the function of a rudder.

    Traxxas TQ RC Kit

    The model is controlled by a two-channel proportional steering wheel RC radio Traxxas TQ, working in the 2.4 GHz band - operation without interference. The transmitter is powered by only 4 AA cells.



    There is a rotary knob on the transmitter that trims the steering (so that the model goes straight if the steering wheel is in the center position). The status of the batteries in the transmitter is indicated by an LED. Reverse can be set on the transmitter on the throttle and steering channels.

    USB-C charger

    The package includes a NiMH battery and a modern fully automatic 40W USB-C charger. The charger allows you to charge 6 to 7 cell NiMH batteries with a charging current of up to 4 A.


    The USB-C charger can be powered by any USB adapter and connected with a USB-C cable. However, for full charging performance, it is necessary to choose suitable components, see recommended accessories.

    To operate the model, it is necessary to add 4x AA batteries for the transmitter. We recommend powering the USB-C charger with a powerful USB adapter.

    Powering the USB-C charger from the mains requires a USB adapter and a USB-C cable for connection (adapter and cable are not included in the package). In order to use the maximum charging power, it is necessary to choose sufficiently dimensioned components. We recommend:

    Other accessories

    Before driving, it is necessary to lubricate the shaft with a special - lubricating grease for ship shafts, or a grease gun with Marine lubricating grease. To extend the driving time, we also recommend purchasing a spare 6-cell NiMH Traxxas 7.2V 3000mAh battery.
