The RC model of the Traxxas 4-Tec Drift Nissan 240SX car in 1:10 scale is specially adapted for drifting. Learn to drift corners like a true racer with the best model that is made for it. The Traxxas 4-Tec Drift Nissan 240SX features a new adjustable suspension with a high steering angle, a new DC motor, a handbrake function, a clipless licensed bodywork and a specially modified TSM electronic stabilization for drifting adjustable via the app. A Bluetooth module is factory-installed in the transmitter for connection to the phone and the Traxxas Link app.
To create the best driving characteristics for drifting, Traxxas used the 4-Tec 2.0 200 mm on-road chassis. It developed a new independent suspension for it, which is also adjustable. The power from the engine is transmitted to the rear wheels - 2WD drive. In addition to hard compound tires for surfaces such as asflat, the package also includes a set of tires with a soft compound for use on smooth surfaces. The bumper and brackets have also been modified, and now the model uses a modern clipless body with a licensed Nissan 240SX look.
In addition to the proven controller with three driving modes, a receiver with a specially modified drifting algorithm was also used. You can easily adjust the drifting modes and assistance intensity in the application. For a smooth transition into a skid, the transmitter is equipped with a switch for activating the electric handbrake.
4-Tec Drift provides more than 60° of steering angle when the steering wheel is fully turned, which allows for large lateral drifts and quick transitions between them. The front suspension is specifically tuned for drifting with tie rods, steering knuckles and linkages optimized for maximum range of motion. An optional kit is also included that increases the steering angle up to 75°.
Only the 4-Tec Drift model allows you to choose from three drift modes, which can be fine-tuned using the Traxxas Link app. The innovative TSM Drift technology replaces outdated gyroscopes. Even novices can drift like a pro without any special knowledge or skills, and advanced drivers will appreciate the smooth controls for even more precise steering.
The Nissan 240SX Clipless Body excels in durability, ease of use and sophisticated details. Beautiful metallic paintwork contrasts with plastic elements for a classic stunning 80s style. Body mounts are neatly integrated into the sculpted hood vents and rear spoiler for extra reinforcement and a clean look.
The Traxxas Link ™ wireless module is factory-installed in the transmitter to use the full potential of the model with individual drift modes. Using the clear app, you can customize settings and unlock advanced tuning features. Pressing the switch on the transmitter activates the electric handbrake, which brakes the rear wheels, for easier skid initiation.
The model is designed for maximum versatility. The package includes two sets of 1.9" tires. Use the hard compound tires installed on the model on any hard abrasive surface, such as pavement or asphalt. The included soft compound tires provide better drift control on smooth surfaces.
The 4-Tec Drift rides on a new rear-wheel drive platform based on the responsive 4-Tec 200 mm chassis. The front suspension components are new to provide optimal drift geometry and a steering angle of over 60°. Drivers can also take advantage of the possibility of individual adjustment.
